I do not know what they are doing, on the other hand they hate bitcoin and feel threatened by bitcoin, they are afraid the national currency will be chewed by bitcoin, but on the other side they also invest in crypto world.

See how the Indonesian government, they forbid not to invest in crypto and not make it as a tool of transactions, but also keep shares in Ripple.

maybe they want to get us out of crypto, by spreading the negative news about bitcoin and crypto through the media, so they can dominate the market.

You must understand that the majority of the media is controlled by the same powers that control the western central banking system. Bitcoin being a finite, decentralized, transparent system is inherently against the current centralized private banking regime. As such, there are countless articles that cast negativity on Bitcoin, but fail to make any strong arguments. These articles are propaganda at best. It is crucial to read critically during these times.

This sounds like something i want to believe.
Do you have any facts for what you are saying?

I dont like the media in general, to me everything including crypto is sensationalised,
Pumped up for all to take as 100% fact. Maybe in the case if crypto the reporter or writer if various articles is not fully in tune with crypto or maybe the reports in general are intentionally misleading, i dont know.

I talked about this in a dow news thread on the press child board and the responses were not of the same thinking as mine.

Whenever a government announces to regulate bitcoin or cryptocurrency or whenever BTC price is in downfall, most of the media start to warn everyone not purchase or invest in Bitcoins.
https://www.bitex.in/a-class-of-indian-media-unnecessarily-damaging-bitcoin-reputation/

What is the reason for doing this? Do they intentionally do this so that even they can invest in Bitcoin and make some profit?

I think its not that they are saying that people should not invest on bitcoin it is more of a saying that bitcoin has its flaws and amidst its rising popularity there are stark negatives that people should be cautiousabout. I think they just want the people to be aware of this and not necessarily give all in to the cryptocurrency market because of a lot of the bolatility that even governments are shying away from

lately a lot of media expose negative things about bitcoin whether the news is real or just a trick of potential investors who want to buy at the lowest price then they do buy large amounts, but that would be negative or positive news it will have an impact on price movements , it's back to us to make the most of the opportunities and risks.

I think mostly because it is a new form of technology that most people do not understand. Also, the anonymity of cryptocurrency is conducive for illegal activities.

Whenever a government announces to regulate bitcoin or cryptocurrency or whenever BTC price is in downfall, most of the media start to warn everyone not purchase or invest in Bitcoins.

It remains a mystery tome why the media is hating on BTC. This is pure hate if you ask me. I just dont know what they stand to gain. Do they think the BTC is just going to go into thin air? Other stocks and investments drop and we do not hear anything about it but at the slightest drop in BTC price, there is news and stories everywhere in the media. And the funny thing, their stories are mostly false. From reading them, you just wonder why they hate the BTC so much. I still need to know what their plot is.

I think the media just write what will be big news and will be the people's talk because by writing controversial news will make their news much read by people and that's where they get the money.

I think media just tries to put as much as possible hype into their headings/articles which isn't proper journalism but sells clicks and that is enough these days. I predict that we will soon see a turn to praising bitcoin again. After good news from USA (senate hearing) media already started putting some other positive stories as well.

Whenever a government announces to regulate bitcoin or cryptocurrency or whenever BTC price is in downfall, most of the media start to warn everyone not purchase or invest in Bitcoins.

the media earn money with news that provoke panic or very enthusiastic, in short... the media make money publishing news that has a big impact.

Did you see when the bitcoin price was $18,000 what happened? all news channels were talking well of bitcoin, if today the news channels are talking bad bitcoin is because they need news that have some impact.

In my country when bitcoin was 18-20k all news channels were full of "bubble" talking, warning people it will burst and the price will go to 0. Actually there is one prominent financial "expert" claiming each and every time he can speak publicly on bitcoin, that bitcoin's real value (and I cite) "may be equal to 0".

Now, they are claiming they were right and that bitcoin will go down even more.

Why do people still believe and read an unbiased media, people really need to think and research on their own. Please name me an unbiased media except for WikiLeaks.

Because its profitable for personal, neither it the profit from the news or profit from the FUDs.

Reason #1: the media is a government tool, and the government wants to hold back crypto to monopolize the currency ~ fiat.
Reason #2: Most journalists are good at writing, not good at exploring and evaluating the future of crypto, so they are the tools of the speculators to pump / dump.

because one of the make price down or up is the news about bitcoin. like few days ago there's a news that china or korea really really banning Bitcoin from their country and after that the price drop instantly and few days later there's a news that korea not really ban bitcoin so the people buy it again. so media make negative news about bitcoin cause there's someone out there want to buy bitcoin in cheaper price.

if you do not have great good news about bitcoin, then the media will post bad news.

get used to it because this is something that happens with everything that is popular (in this case, bitcoin is popular)

well I've answered these questions and just to add: imagine that tomorrow you become the only person on the planet with superpowers, you would be on the cover of the newspaper every day and the critics would surpass the compliments
right, media dont care what is good or bad, whats important to them is the reader that will buy their news..and since cryptocurrencies is the biggest earning in media industry now, they love making story in negativitu to make an impact.if i were you, stop checking news and focus in crypto for good

Media is a very powerful tool in advertisement that it can even topple down a government with it's fake news. So maybe there is an influential people that have paid the media to make some negative news about bitcoin so the people will panic and move away from cryptocurrency. Media can be paid, i knew that.

Many media representatives speak on behalf of the government!

The negative impact of the media is largely from the government's opinion!

Due to the development of the Internet, many media are personal media, and they do not know the meaning of digital currency! Maybe it's because you can't make money and get jealous!

These media reflect the policy direction of the country to some extent.

Because they don't know about bitcoin, or maybe the media have teamed up to short the market, profiting from the cryptocurrency market.

That is because a lot of countries government have put cryptocurrencies as an illegal tender. Maybe because of many negative thoughts have come up for bitcoins. Even the price has decreased considerably.

because the media needs money to pay their employee and they don't care about everything. as long as they can get huge money, then they will do many ways to earn more money. but this is not for all media because I am sure that there are a media that will concern with the fact and only give the truth to the people and sometimes, to do this, this media can get bad things because they giving the real fact and not only for the money.
