Why Media is negative about Bitcoin?

Whenever bitcoin goes down and markets are starting to sell and people are going in panic , media steps in and spreads the bloodbath all over the news to create even more panic on the markets. You all saw that when bitcoin goes up media talks always good things about it.

I think they are just jumping on the bandwagon of anti hype. Probably media is simply siding with most governments and banks.

Base on your question, my speculation is media controlled by the government which is the governments against with it because of being decentralized. Manipulation of media can lead a good result for them and it can be a tool to break the cycle of competition between banks and crypto. According to article I read, banks are making movement to exceed the services of crypto and as you can see the pressure within this statement. at some point, it will be good or bad result.

I can most assure you that your "speculation" is spot on with regards to the media being controlled by the government; you are totally right there!!! For me personally, decentralization is a good thing. But total anonymity could pose a huge problem. I'm an optimist and I would love to see the world be a much better place; not exactly Utopia like; however, the fact that total anonymity with bitcoin can allow for a lot illegal activities which can throw communities or individuals to chaos, worries me.

I think the media just want to be famous, by looking for the weakness of bitcoin, I think more and more media are spreading the news that dropped or cornered it just makes bitcoin stronger and more popular around the world.

they want to increase their ratings in the media report so they could be more famous and reach more follower. I think they will do many ways to still spreading about the negative of bitcoin but sometimes they don't realize that this will not stay for a long time and people now become smart for making a decision and they can think about what they need to do with bitcoin. and no matter how bad the media say about bitcoin, people will choose what they want and people will search another news to compare from what they read.

we do not have to worry about what the media say because the media just write what the government wants and they just write because it is their job

it is easy to know. most of media channel are controlled by law. So, they will post negative about BTC to reduce the investors. Besides, they also are paid to post news. many whales and sharks wanna dump BTC price and buy with low price

We should learn to get used to the bad news about bitcoin. I find that the media is always promoting the bad news of bitcoin, which will have a bad effect on bitcoin, causing people to panic.

The reputation of Bitcoin in media is bad because of the misleading information that is not helpful to the public,  they are not discussing what really a bitcoin is example of that is bitcoin is a scam", "bitcoin is not secure" or "bitcoin is only used by drug dealers"). I agree, the media depends on the owner and the advertisers, and of course if they tell you bad things will benefit from telling good things from bitcoin, we need not worry about this because the future of bitcoin will continue to improve.

Mostly media negative about bitcoin that no one has control over it. it's decentralized completely. It can be transferred from one account to another in mere seconds. It’s also an unstable form of currency that can switch value at any given point and we all know for media it likes  whatever in their favor but whenever it comes to matter of bitcoin it was never in favor of media because of the tremendous  freedom currency that ever created by human being it's totally free from from the controlling effect from the mass media.

First, you must understand that the media is a tool; A tool of propaganda to distort the truth and present a false side to what cryptocurrency is all about in the hands of those that feel threatened by it or some just wish to attack this novel and technologically advanced method for doing business over the internet. It is Clear that ignorance as the second point can be the propelling reason for this negative news about the crypto world.
Thirdly, past experience by others investing in a dot.com business is what has fueled this hate. summarily put, ignorance, hate and  fear may be the reason.
