Created an account here recently.  I've seen they have some pretty strong verification requirements to be able to access most of the trading features.  Interesting to see XRP available here with all the controversy that seemed to be surrounding it.

Neither is Bitfinex and they would land in the top spots by volume currently.

bitcoincharts seems to be very sceptical once it comes to including platforms that offer leverage. Still I'd love to see Kraken work on that and push them a bit - a listing on there is basically a must in my opinion for any exchange out there.

Placed a few orders today, that went a bit weird: My market sell orders sometimes got cancelled directly after placing them and the other times they were only filled partially before getting cancelled. Setting limit orders to match the correct bid price to get the entire order executed worked fine, but this way there doesn't seem to be a point to market orders.

Withdrew a couple hundred euro's at 7pm GMT+1, got it in my bank next day around noon. Awesome!

NOTICE for Verification:
If your verification at Tier1-2 has failed to complete within 30 minutes, or Tier3 within 24 hours, please submit a ticket to support.

Hey everyone - we're getting a lot of support tickets referencing the notice above. Unfortunately this information isn't correct. I didn't notice that this had been put up, and if I had I would have had it changed immediately - sorry for the confusion. While it's true that Tier 1-2 verification can take as little as 30 minutes, it can also take much longer (i.e. when it requires manual review). Please allow 2 business days for verification, regardless of the tier before contacting support. We've had an explosion of new accounts over the weekend, so if you are waiting for verification, expect it to take on the longer side of 2 business days for the time being. Also, be on the lookout for an email from us, since we sometimes need to contact people during the verification process for further information.

Also, here's some important information about verification from the OP that bears repeating.

Getting verified:
...[See below for an explanation of the account verification tiers and the services/funding limits of each.]

Tier 0 – you can poke around but you can’t deposit, withdraw or make any trades.
Tier 1 – you can deposit, withdraw and trade in digital currency only.
Tier 2 – you can deposit, withdraw and trade in both digital currency and national currency.
Tier 3 – like Tier 2 but with higher funding limits.  (may take a few days to process)
Tier 4 – like Tier 3 but with even higher funding limits.

Processing – your verification information is being reviewed.  Processing may be delayed for any of the following reasons:  IP address and stated jurisdiction mismatch, user under minimum age requirement, unable to verify name, unable to verify address, unable to read document scans/photos, unable to verify notarization.

Verified – you’ve passed verification and your account is functioning at the highest ‘Verified’ tier.

Pre-Verified – you’ve passed verification but your account activity is limited to a lower tier pending regulatory approval in your jurisdiction.  For example, if you live in California, you may be Pre-Verified to Tier 3 but your account will be functioning at Tier 0 until we have clearance for CA, at which time your account will be automatically upgraded to Verified Tier 3.

We've also had an explosion of support requests over the weekend. We generally respond to tickets within 1 working day, but this week it may take 2 working days in some cases.

Please bear with us during this insanely busy time and we'll assist you as soon as we can.  Smiley

We should be launching in Germany any day now, but it's taken longer than other European countries because Germany has some special regulations governing exchanges.

There seems to something odd with my daily withdrawal limit, unless I'm misunderstanding something.

Yesterday at 15:16 CET (almost 30 hours ago) I withdrew my daily limit through a SEPA transfer. The transfer was completed successfully and the money is in my bank account (cheers for fast withdrawals btw!), but I can't withdraw any of my remaining funds. The info-box when trying to withdraw Bitcoins states:
Code:
Daily limit $0.00 / $2,000.00
Monthly limit $0.00 / $10,000.00
Current balance ฿0.87036
Withheld ฿0.00000
Withheld (converted) $1,997.87
Maximum withdrawal ฿0.00392

The $1997.87 corresponds to my withdrawal from yesterday. Additionally, on the Ledger page of the History section it shows my Euro-balance to be 1480, which is the amount I withdrew and my actual balance is 0.

What's going on?

Do you have any pending orders? You can't withdraw funds that you are trying to use in an order - that's usually what it means if funds are "withheld." If that's not the issue, please create a support ticket and include your public account ID so we can take a look at your account.

Edit: sorry, I forgot about your point that the amount was equivalent to your withdrawal from yesterday, so it's probably not due to an order you have on. Send in a ticket so we can take a closer look at your account.

Maximum withdrawal amount just went up to my total BTC balance, "Withheld (converted)" field is unchanged. Withdrew my bitcoins successfully to my personal wallet and the "Withheld (converted)" increased by the value of those coins. So while my funds are fine, the display is off.

I will submit a ticket.

Could you specify what german authorities are asking you that is delaying the process? Do they want all the transaction data for tax purposes?
Or is it taking longer than bitcoin.de because you are a "real" exchange and they are only a market place?

Big News:

We have (finally) launched in Germany! German users who have pre-verified their accounts are now able to fund accounts and trade in accordance with their verified tier level. We deeply appreciate the support and patience of our German users while we prepared for launch.

For the time being, German users will be limited to the following order types: limit, stop loss limit, and take profit limit. We're sorry to impose these limits, but they are necessary due to special regulations governing exchanges in Germany. Since the volume on the exchange is still relatively low, it's best for people to limit themselves to these order types anyway to avoid price slippage in a thin market. Eventually German users will be able to enjoy the same selection of order types as other users, but first we have to complete further regulatory requirements and we do not have an ETA on this at the present time.

Do you have a solution to the "Fidor-problem"? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=340137.msg3650615#msg3650615
short: You can't do a SEPA transfer from fidor to fidor banking account. U only can do "send money to a friend". The problem could be, that than u are not able to see from which IBAN the transaction is. U will only see the fidor-nickname of the user and the "type of use"
So will I have the money in my account after sending it via this "sending money" option?

Edit: I will try it myself to see, what works and what not, the user "realcoin" wrote, that normal german transfers work.
