You can't name a single hardware provider that hasn't been accused of being both.
KNC There - I named one. Do I really need to go dig up scam accusation quotes for you? Did or did they not deliver in time? or at least manufacture in time and only had slight delays during shipout. Have you been a customer of them? Just because of some trolls posting garbage on the interwebs .... And that was exactly my point. This community has an abundance of trolls that make it unpleasant to post anything even slightly negative. So it doesn't surprise me when companies go quiet while they sort out an appropriate response and presentation. The point with bitmine is that such accusations never truly happened; until they made customers aware of a delay that was not reported in time!

The reason manufacturers are hesitant to report on errors and delays is due to the... unique personality of this community. Everything is accused of being a scam or a conspiracy, regardless of the levels of transparency and previous track record. You can't name a single hardware provider that hasn't been accused of being both. It can be argued that this is because we've never had an honest manufacturer, but somehow hardware is getting made and shipped so I have to doubt the accuracy of that assumption.
There will always be some users calling any given company scam and/or acusing them of mining with customers devices before selling them. You can't really do something about this. However you could care about the 95% of other customers who would truly appreciate more frequent and transparent communication.

That's fair. I still don't see how reporting a delay late translates to scam or conspiracy, but I do agree that people have a right to be miffed. Good thing they purchased parts under the CPP.

Thank why hashrate of network rise so much month or maybe more than they really sends machines to you? Network hashrate raise in delay timeframe! And we all know people don't use PCs anymore for minig.

That´s exactly what I thought and also asked them (bitmine) to improve several times. Their bold statements of becoming the "best btc miner manufacturers" and rather "over-delivering" was simply unaccomplished unfortunately.

Ok, that's a fair point too. It's difficult to tell sometimes, since this forum does get a bit enthusiatic (read: overbearing) when it comes requesting information updates. I would like to hear something from BitMine as well, frankly. I have some outstanding bits that I hope made it out before CNY. It's just strange to me that people think aggressively pummeling their official thread is somehow going to encourage them to respond sooner.

we are at a point where people should consider a class suit.
I mean there is no evidence that they ever planed delivering anything. Somebody losing over 150 000$ due to the late delivery without any evidence at all that its just delayed. A lawyer should get into it and look if it's a clear fraud or just a delayed delivery resulting by many problems.
I agree, it is time to act

I think they did and do want to deliver; BUT - opportunity makes thieves. I myself have seen it with Avalon (it was shown that they did mine in a huge manner as some fat wallets were clearly associated with them). The more time passes without hearing clear statements from bitmine the more likely it is for me that they are not acting in a honest manner. I for myself am definitely not satisfied by the mere explanation of a 3 week delay of chips by the manufacturer plus some vague problems with their multi-layered pcbs.

They ran at a little over 30GH rather than 40GH. If there is a 25% shortfall they should just get units out and give 25% store credit off the next purchase in my opinion. Turning a problem into a way to drive more sales.

Sounds very reasonable to me. Let's see what they say. If turbo mode is not at all possible, some form of discount has to be given, or the order is null and void.

Nominal is 25GHs. 40GHs was never guaranteed for all chips. That said, we've seen greater than 30GHs on engineering sample chips. Production grade chips generally perform better.

Their advertizing is for a +50% turbomode. Look it up, still what they write in the specifications.
