Thanks for the heads up shade88 Anytime. Any performance increase using the instructions? the instructions are copied from www.burninmining.com and are from the avalon bitburner ... they don't match in some parts ... like ... the avalon options ... you might check the posts in ... here which are more actual ... :-)

Judging from other bitfury based boards performance, it looks like to consume 1J/GH or less bitfury chips have to be downclocked to about 1.5GH/s. So, with 16 chips on the board, you'll have to downclock it to 24 GH/s
Not quite, which is why it is a bit weird that the bitfury burners seem to be way over this. Some of the bitfurystrikesback kit has been demonstrated at < 1W/GH/s at the wall with chips clocked over 2GH/s (e.g. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=250249.msg3284893#msg3284893).

Seems like people are getting 47-52GHs per board?
Anyone measure the power consumption yet?
Yes. --avalon-options 115200:16:10:d:256 --bitburner-voltage 1230 85 Watts. 42.59 Ghash/sec. --avalon-options 115200:16:10:d:280 --bitburner-voltage 1400 132 Watts. 50.22 Ghash/sec. The BitBurner Fury was advertised as: - BitBurner Fury with external clock: Hashrate 40 GH/s – 80 GH/s (best demonstrated 64 Ghash/s)
- Power requirement: 50 up to 100 Watts (dependent on overclocking)
I feel sad and angry. Why always the ripp-offs in bitcoinland? Ouch, 132W! Is it just the chips that are getting really hot or are there other components on the board that are hungrily turning your electricity to heat! Anybody else getting this kind of power consumption?

How many chips are in a Metabank miner? If I understand the Metabank site properly it looks like each chip in your miner is running at around 3 GH/s, if so this looks quite consistent with fydel's numbers. I guess there's a really big increase in power consumption between 2 and 3 GH/s per chip . edit: fixing terrible grammar

@cryptx Is it that hard to answer emails ? I filed a cross border complaint and I suggest that everyone do the same http://www.eccbelgium.be/Board is ordered and paid for while you show us how many fucks you give by not shipping. Or shipping when you feel like. You charge a premium for a product that clearly performs sub-par and expect us to sit and wait ? https://i.imgur.com/5Jis1GS.png

@cryptx when will the refunds which have already been requested be completed pls? At this rate, the 100 eur discount that probably should be default by now, won't be enough to cover the losses of more delays...

Just got my 8-board kit today.
It didn't seem to include a CANBUS cable. (It was supposed to have one, right??)
I hope I can dig up something to use or else I'm going to have to buy 7 more raspberry Pis, lol.
Any ideas where I can get one?
Also, the heatsink on one was incorrectly placed and it covered the holes on the end. This makes that board impossible to stack or even put the risers on.
Lots of bent pins ont he connectors everywhere. Some of them even shorting out (I had to bend them back).
Have no idea if it works at all yet :-/.
I have a 1000W power supply. I hope that will be enough.

Hmm, I suppose I could get a couple of USB hubs and more cables. that should work too, right?

UPDATE 16/09/2013 Hashrate protection These refunds will be given when the tested hashrate of the board is below 64 GH/s: - 100€ refund for each board
cryptx / burnin Congratulations for the on-time delivery of a working product (which is not something to be underestimated!!); this cements your reputation for delivery of products on time. However, please could you provide a refund of €100, or instructions on how to get the hashrate from ~50GH/s to >= 64GH/s asap? Thanks very much scotjam P.S. for folks struggling to get to speeds of about 50GH/s, I have done this by running with the following options (I have followed the instructions on https://www.asic-hardware.com/assembly-instructions-part-2/ but I have not updated the firmware on the device): sudo ./cgminer -o [pool] -u [pool_username] -p [pool_password] --avalon-options 115200:32:10:47:270 --bitburner-voltage 1400 (temp is about 58-59 degrees C) P.P.S make sure you also run: sudo apt-get install git libudev-dev libtool (this step is missing from the instructions above, but will save a lot of time in the configuration process)

Thank you cryptx. Do you have a time frame for addressing this? Clearly if the aim is still to hit 64 GH/s, the longer it takes the more customers lose out (64 GH/s this week is more valuable than 64 GH/s next week). scotjam
