NEO Could Surpass Bitcoin By The Year 2019

I think 2019 is too soon for NEO to surpass btc and in my opinion, that may not happen yet this time but there is a chance. Considering what is happening in the market, Neo has been doing very good in the crypto market because it is a blockchain based smart contract platform and considered the next generation Ethereum of China. Neo coin is established to be completely decentralised to take out control from governments and banks and it has been made to fit precisely within Chinese rules. With this significant  update, there is no doubt that Neo will continue to rise in the market soon.

I have believe in NEO as well so I buy even for some amount aside from bitcoin, it is also good to buy coins which you think is good just like NEO and other top  altcoins that is also worth to invest at. Just do not put all your money be careful and study first the flow of the price before investing all of your hard earned money.

First of all, I am not really sure the ground of OP creating the thread.

There is actually no comparison of $NEO to $BTC, but again, if you are talking about taking over the market capital and dominance, then there many came and went but $BTC has shown who is the King.
With lightning network incoming, and other major updates, its nearly impossible for any ALT to come close to $BTC.

I support $NEO and believe me my 30% portfolio is always around it, however, first to prove your claim, $NEO need to beat $ETH then we can may be talk about moving to #1

on some sides indeed NEO has a good potential for the future, I believe it. but it seems to be able to surpass the bitcoin it will be very difficult and even I can say that it is a little bit impossible.

NEO doesn't yet have enough market share for this to be possible even though its tipped to be launching up to 100 new projects this year

It would have to contend with Ethereum first which is still way out in front

Here about the ether they say as the first to replace the bitcoin and then everyone understands that this is unreal, and you are talking for neo. Nobody argues that this is a promising coin, but to reach such heights in a year, well, fantasy sooner.

I agree that NEO is one of the best altcoins out there with good development. It's possible to surpass eth but surpassing bitcoin by 2019 is way too optimistic at least not in the near time. Bitcoin is the most well-known cryptocurrencies and has a strong brand. It's hard to beat bitcoin's popularity.

Although NEO has a great potential, and the project in Asia is very fire, and based on the NEO project is very much also, but I don't think it will be more than the bitcoin, the gap between it and the bitcoin is still large.

2019 is too soon for this kind of surpass. i do not think it is possible at 2019, but in a 3-4 years maybe. who knows. i hope neo will surpass btc because i own more neo, less btc:)

The truth be told here, although Neo is promising looking at all it has to offer to the development of Blockchain technology, catching and knocking off Btc is not gonna be easy or happening anytime soon. Despite the fact am an advocate of all possibilities, some issues have to be addressed in an objective manner without giving in to bias in any way.

Neo is the fourth coin in digital money, I think NEO can not match bitcoin, if you say ETH can beat bitcoin in 2019, then I might believe you But NEO is not possible. The bitcoin price is 10 times higher than NEO, there is no evidence that NEO is growing strongly, and will be the leading currency in the crypto market.

Ethereum and NEO are the main Bitcoin's rival in terms of market value cap.
Today Ethereum is heading towards beating Bitcoin's capital and while NEO is heading Ethereums'
There's a lot of competitions and factors to be considered between the two on which them will surely surpass Bitcoin in the year of 2019 but the case isn't clear because I know Bitcoin will not allow any altcoins do surpass it's market value even today.
Bitcoin is always far ahead from it's rivals and competitors.

Though NEO aims to integrate itself better with the real economy, thus it is positioning itself, at the forefront of blockchain tech with its innate support for digital identity-backed smart contracts, ability to communicate with other blockchain through a cross-chain protocol, and secure communication protocol.
But If NEO should ever pump i don't think it can surpass bitcoin. Bitcoin has gotten a large difference between its competitors.

NEO is my biggest crypto holding & i'm extremely bullish on it for the next couple of years. Will it surpass Bitcoin? Who knows....right now that is hard to envision, but it's possible.

I'm quite skeptical, NEO is, of course, a great platform. That's why I'll be investing in Neonexchange, but if Ethereum isn't able to surpass Bitcoin, why would NEO be able?

There is no doubt about the fact that NEO is a great platform and has the potential to go high in price in the nearest future but I don't think NEO can surpass bitcoin because bitcoin has already gained the momentum in the past years.
