Neo is direct competition to ether not to bitcoin but this year neo growth is tremendous and robust due to the developments neo can see 1000 dollars price by the end of this year
This really shows that neo is also good project to invest. Exactly it is competing with ethereum but I do not think it can surpass to bitcoin by year 2019. Although there are many things to be happen by that year still I think it cannot surpass btc. |

How can we say that in advance? 2019 has not yet reached a good time for many changes. Will NEO pass the bitcoin in 2019? In 2018 bitcoin situation is not very good, prices fell almost half. If NEO continues to fail, NEO will be able to surpass bitcoin.

I trust chinese people to support this coin to the moon by surpassing bitcoin is something all coins imagine but it won't happen, at all. Bitcoin will stay as #1 coin as possible as it stays alive. No coin to pass it, neo or eth, no.

Honestly I am bitcoin believer and I don't have much idea on this coin. Therefore as for me Neo couldn't surpass bitcoin in a split second. Let us take a look when the starting point of bitcoin and when bitcoin now. Then let us take a look also to Neo.
I know Neo's growth is good, but still, bitcoin will always maintain its position in the top even in the 2019. This is new coin and not too much staying in crypto the future wasn't so clear as for now. Although it is promising the future of coin how more years to last is depends to what will be.

Neo will never surpass bitcoin, I will not use NEO even if it would be the first ranked on cmc... NEO is just another hyped questionable coin... Well we will see, but I'm not going in those waters, I prefer the beach

NEO surpassing bitcoin in 2019? No that's not going to happen. NEO has a promising future, it can even meet up with bitcoin but in the far far future not as close as that of 2019 you forecast. Bitcoin will surely dominate the crypto market for not less than ten years from now.

Whilst NEO has actual utility usage compared to Bitcoin that prediction is frankly absurd. Yes more coins are starting to launch on the NEO platform but I think the most likely scenario during 2019 is that NEO may gain against Ethereum.

I'd say it's getting difficult for NEO.
The technology is unique to the date but they are not able to progress as rapidly as their newer competitors.
Launch of NEX would bring up some interest and gas consumption would rise. But I don't think that too would be able to place NEO anywhere near bitcoin.

Thats such a brave thought, NEO is a good coin with a good product to it, and it has the middle east population behind it to drive it up top, however, its still cannot compare to BTC in terms of quality and market cap, unless BTC deteriorates that much, NEO will never close the gap

I really doubt that it will happen.
NEO is a really good coin, but to be honest, it will not surpass bitcoin because it is just the exact copy of ethereum, and even worst.

I think it is not possible for NEO to surpass Bitcoin by the year 2019. there are a very huge difference between the Neo and Bitcoin price, and it is not possible in near future also. Neo is good coin but it is not easy to surpass bitcoin. Bitcoin is number 01 coin of this market and always be on number one position.
