well my strategy is a little different, but that does not means yours strategy is bad
well i just split all my investment between top 5 coins in the same shares they have now in market
and that's all. i think market is much smarter then me ))

This strategy is quite appropriate, but I prefer to diversify the portfolio because it is not known how exactly the coin will behave, even if it is now considered promising.

Hey, guys. Today I thought about what would happen if I cease to diversify their risks, sell all altcoins. Leaving all in bitcoins and wait until the rest of my Deposit will not grow. Will I be able to earn more money for 2018 with this strategy?  I already did so in the summer of 2017, leaving 60% of my Deposit in ETH for six months and did not regret it. I advise you to think about this strategy. Thank you all for your answers. It is quite risky if we will do this kind of strategy. Putting all your assets in one investment is very dangerous especially that bitcoin is volatile, tho this has advantages. I believe that it would be better to divide your investment into at least 3 strong assets. I don't advise you to do that equally but to rank among those three what you think is the most profitable then invest a higher portion of your investment to that. |

We all know that there are so many dips or the price is still low as compared last year but don't be discourage about it but instead take this as opportunity to invest more and then just hold until the price increase again. I believe that Bitcoin will rise up again and even higher as compared from previous years. For now, let's just be patient to wait and hold because Bitcoin is the big thing and this might change ourlives. We can never go wrong if we will invest to Bitcoin because this is our future investment and online currency. Bitcoin is too big to lose so let's just invest today! |

it is a difficult to get daily returns based on altcoin because not all altcoin can increase higher and give us bigger profit and only a good coin that could do that. but you have a good percentage of your money and I think you can make a lot of profit for the altcoin and for the bitcoin. and I agree with you that bitcoin is only for a long-term investment and not to worry if the price is down. |

With a market such as this and as low as the one we are experiencing now it won't be easy to make daily returns from coins as the prices and the values are not really going up that much or even at all.

I am working on some other strategy that is I am buying altcoins as its getting down and down I am buying more and more because I am sure it will start to grow again and will see them at all time high. And I will enjoy the double profits.

Lot's of Altcoins are bleeding heavily at the moment and an end seems not to be anywhere near in sight. So you might indeed be better off selling a broad range of alts and reduce your portfolio. As others pointed out, regardless if Bitcoin is still the king of the cryptomarket, you make yourself more vulnerable if you only hold 1 coin. Can you really walk away and don't look up prices if you have obly Bitcoin? Even if you can, you might be bombarded with news when things get much worse even without actevely looking for new updates.
I would reduce my portfolio to 3 coinswith Bitcoin having the biggest share, followed by Ethereum and NEO as these are platform projects thst are relatively stable. Then you don't have to freak out if you hear on the streets that Bitcoin Cash, Bitcoin Hash, Bitcoin Trash or any other new fork wants to overtake Bitcoin. Good luck with your decision.

how to say)if you sell all the tokens, and you keep in bitcoin,I do not think that will be much use,as the tokens will increase more chance than increase bitcoin
If I think it's a good idea, because if you sell all tokens and store bitcoins, it will be more effective than storing tokens will be more affected by market price changes. |

While you're previous gain in ETH are great, we can't really tell if it will be the same this year. There is really a great chance for that to happen again but there will still be room for failure. Diversifying is there to mitigate this possible failure if it ever happens

Actually cryptocurrency can be a profit investment if you hold it for long term. but many peoples get panicked when the value dropping in the market, and panic selling. that won't do any profit. |
