Do you think that Bitcoin has become too slow to compete with the relatively quick alt coins out there? Is it realty competitive to have a slow community rather than a centralised decision making in development?

In other words, does the community effect of decentralisation enough to counterbalance the difficult decision making processes?

Yes, it takes about two hours for the bitcoin network to trade.

The speed of bitcoin does not mean it will be the main coin or the leading coin of the future.

I think the bitcoin increase is slow because bitcoin has reached the highest value of 19000 USD and now it's more stable and volatility is not too high and already has a big market and community. whereas the new altcoin appears still and the value is still very low much different from bitcoin. has no market and community yet. so the movement of its value is greater. to attract buyers and investors.

it seems like I see a coin moving just the same no one is always doing a fast movement all the time, when the coin has good news that could trigger a rise in coin prices will definitely make the coin movement is very fast.

not because I know bitcoin is always the lead bitcoin because it knows it's the king and it's always the king's warmth it has and no one else can replace it.

I've often times told friends that holding Bitcoin won't give as much as holding Altcoins. With good altcoins on hold, then you can tripple or quadripple the start Bitcoin I had. But on the other hand, holding Bitcoin won't give as much.

I think it depends to the law of the demand if the coins move faster because if some the best coins in the market is in demand then there’s a possibility
that the other coins are not move faster because they are out of the demand because they are the best coins aside from them.

It is depends to the flow of the transactions of the business in this industry because there’s a lot of competitors who try to compete to the best known company of this kind of business.

Yes, I agree this time that btc has been slow in terms of growth in the last few months but it does not mean that other coins are much faster than with btc.
In reality, altcoins usually depend on the market of bitcoin coin wherein if btc will increase, automatically altcoins will follow. Altcoins are correlated with bitcoin with respect to it's market trend.

in some projects yeah, but those type of tokens are very rare actually, we  can see hundreds of new coins / tokens release every month, but many of them do not move at all and they are traded even less than ICO price for months. among them there are tokens that catch the eye of the community and move a bit faster than others.

Community and the developers both have their parts, some tokens community is fully active in buying and selling, and most are trying to hold and make long term profit when they feel it's a great project and sometimes the marketing strategies of developers team is impressive and they attract more crowd toward that.

Move or not about the other altcoin is depend first at their ico price, when they sell on the public fir by using initial coin offering it more important to take and know price or moving the token it self when listed on market. their price will be not so far from their token sell for the first on ico public sell. If their coin sell at low price, when open and sell on market will be low and up maybe little.
Well there are many alternate cryptocurrencies which exists today all over the world. So there is a tough competition in the money market all over the world and there is always a race and fight between all the cryptocurrencies that exists today like bitcoin, etherium, etc. so it depends on the demand of a particular cryptocurrency that exist because higher the demand of a cryptocurrency among the people more faster will they move. So right now bitcoin is at the top of the chart.

Bitcoin is almost 10 years and could reach $ 7500, if you look at Ethereum chart then you would think that ETH is a fast growing coin, ETH is not 4 years but in china and some other countries have beaten bitcoin.

There are some rapidly growing coins like Ripple or Cardano, but for the long term I'm sure that any coin will be hard to replace bitcoin because the number of users and bitcoin developers is the largest.

Bitcoin is obsolete and can no longer be the currency of the future. This is indicated by many factors and the high price is not at all an indicator of success. The main problems of bitcoin - speed and high commission - will eventually scare away most of the crypto currency community. Because of such problems, the crypto currency is illiquid and investments in it become too risky.

In fact, the main issue in cryptocurrencies is not about which one has the capacity to generate more profits for speculators, but which one can adapt to the demands of a growing community of crypto-enthusiasts eager to find a reliable and flexible alternative to the current centralized financial system. The issue of price turns out to be secondary to the main approach, despite the great relevance it has received in the last dates.

Bitcoin is doing just fine if you the whole idea in broad sense. It is just that people are misusing the whole thing for their own benefit and there is very less concentration in the development aspects of the bitcoin. We can see that how bitcoin is resisting at different level of market cap despite the thing that it’s not getting much attention at its development core.
