Holding coin for long time or short time is depend on which coin you want to buy or you have. If the coin have any own platform like Eth, Neo, waves etc. Hold it for long or the coin you have already giving you profit sell them. You can also make short and long both trade using same coin. Just look at market trade history if its good trade with half and hold other half for long time..
The cryptocurrency market is in a very volatile period so I believe this is the time when investors should hold long term instead of short-term investment. In times of volatile market, if you are not a good trader then you should not trade day because it is very dangerous for your property.

It is impossible to unequivocally answer this question here. There are coins that grow slowly, without great hesitation. They are suitable only for a long investment. However, some coins are raised in price, they are lowered and then they can be bargained almost daily. It also happens that coins do not grow for a long time, and then their rapid growth begins or vice versa. Therefore, everything depends on the specific circumstances and the situation in the crypto-currency market.
I think that it is necessary to invest in projects for a long time. If in a short time any token grows, then just a part of it must be sold. Other tokens keep on.

I don't think anyone can predict markets, this a gamble. Long or short, the motive is to make money.

I had only a short time because I do not have much experience and I can not predict the future. And because it's fast money. But, of course, the winner is always the one who has more patience.

Therefore hold on your coins, if you don't have any experienced then better to gain it. The market will wait for you, and if the right time comes make a decision that you believe is right. Long term if you don't need the money much and you want to use it for future needs and short term for short term goals, this is both good.

Playing longterm will be different story for me since I'm so selective for the coins I hold for longterm basis since their are so many scam coins who offer to good to be true pump if they stake for more longer years. I must likely a half long term and short term player since short term trading is my safety net to not loss more profit if crypto days will became red just like on what are the current happening today.

It is nearly impossible to invest short term in coins imho. we lack information for that as things change too fast.

if I see from the current market situation I think to make short-term investment is very unlikely, but for long-term investment I think that choice can still provide a bright light for us.

actually short term investment during bearish market could give us the best profit compared to long term, bullish run can happen for a long period just like what happen last oct to jan this year, i suggest to take advantage this dips because gains can earn easily because bitcoin will always rise no matter what, we never saw a btc touching $0 just saying  Grin

I am long term holder,I got a experience that never sell crypto no matter how much dump it is in,focus on increases it's quantity.we already know in next five year blockchain will be high tech widely used technology then crypto will go insane in price so it's better to accumulate as many as you can and sell only if you are really in need of money.

I mostly do short-term trading. For the short term I chose to invest in bitcoin. If the value goes down I buy then I will sell when it is on target.  I do not grandiose in determining the target. Some time if you understand market. Have to play and in short term. Grin Smiley

I believe that in the current situation in the crypto currency market it is better to refrain from trading and wait for the situation to change.

Now a very tough drawdown of the market occurs and it's time to type coins for hold

When deciding to invest in cryptos, you need to set the goal to take profits if the crypto reaches the expected exchange rate. This is very important, will help you avoid FOMO psychology. Even after the sale of the exchange rate has continued to rise, you should not regret that you have decided on the target. You should invest in long-term and have your own goals for cryptos rates.

I am a type of a person which is following coin for long time before i can invest anything, that is why i am trying to just "define" time when i need to sell it, that is why it depends on project in which i am investing.

There are some coins that are good for long term investment like bitcoin, ethereum and litecoin. Before buying a coin, it's better to research it first and find out if that coin have the best potential to give you profit in the long term. If you have some significant funds for long term investment then buy not just a single coin.
