I still do not believe if you want to invest for the long term, while this time I prefer to invest for the short term because it seems to me the result even though it is a little long but it will be much.

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

I don't get your point! well, weather you put your goal in long term or short term you must be knowledgeable because you will loss money if not. Most of the time, short term means trading which is more risky, so I prefer in long term and holding on with great coins. Still depend on your goal so better to set and focus on it.

If the price has been achieved or has a nice profit if you do not want to sell it if I am sure I will sell to exchange other coins because there are many coins but I prefer a good coin and must have a good presentation. for next year

I prefer to invest in a short time. Because then I can ensure the benefits that I can get. I do not think about how much profit I get because the better is I can achieve any income. It will be very valuable because if we can do it consistently then we can benefit in large quantities. Compared to us just waiting for a long time without any certainty to be able to earn revenue, I've been long enough to invest and I take the decision that not forever waiting in a long time can benefit.

I prefer to wait because sometimes the coin is still changing frequently and up and down, it's better if I wait for the new ride price I sell, that's my opinion, thank you

Buying the cheapest price and selling it when the high price is the ideal choice, if the price drops drastically must be done in a long time while waiting for the price to reach the target to sell it.

long term and short term? I have no problem with this. for me it is important to keep investing wisely.
The first thing you need to do is get rid of all the worries.
Next, familiarize yourself with all the jargon and procedures, and learn the various instruments in which you can invest your money.

I often divide my money into lots of investments so I have long and short term investments. Long-term investment as a savings I invest in my future, short-term investment to help me earn a living and can increase my money in times of market up. I also recommend diversified forms of investment to survive and grow in this cryptocurrency market.

I am trading once in a while because I have coins in exchanges. Sometimes I buy and just wait the coin to go up in value before I sell, of course I know it is in dip. Now, which is better, set it to your expected price so that when it hit you sold? O wait for the price to go up and sell even if it did not reach yet to your  target price? Thanks.
Both can be profitable and it depends on how you deal with it. Well I have a real job thats why I cant monitor the price regularly, one of the reason why I chose to be a long term hodler. I prefer to wait when the value reach my target price but there were times I also sell if I need money to spend in other things.

It all depends on what kind of coin I want to invest if the coin will be events (fork, airdrop or ICO), these coins I see as short-term investments.

it all depends on the situation being experienced. when market prices are chaotic or down then holding is the most appropriate choice to do.

I do both for a long-term and short-term because I think I can make a double profit for doing this and so far, I see my balance still increase although it depends on the price of each coin. but when all coins are up especially if bitcoin price is up, my balance is increased too and I think my strategy is working well for me. but I do daily trading too and I am only making small target of profit so I can increase my balance too.

People as their nature does not get contented, despite of higher value they currently see they still hope and believe it can appreciate even better. So I think the attitude of a person matters, like me if I would hold a coin I will set a target day of selling it regardless of the amount.

I think people have different approach on their short term and long term plans with cryptocurrency. We all have our goals and objectives in
investing and culminating with digital currencies. Some might share a better insight that might really influence and improve the way we initiate ours.
Usually people set a target price and sell, It's the same with me, my long term plan. Though I don't sell everything, I would sell half and hold the
other half to still keep my investments intact. I always keep in mind after receiving coins I always wait for a month or two to give things a better
chance. I try to be rational and realistic and avoid being greedy. If it pumps immediately, i'll sell and that's my short term plan.

Some coins are good to hold but still a lot of penny coins that is better to play in short term. I think its all depend on your target price and goal, trading and holding are quiet different but the main purpose is to make money so better to make a good decision and try to maximize all the opportunity you have.

Yes the easiest way is buy and hodl and wait for the price to rise this requires patience because it may involves hodling for days which I considered a long term and the trade is closed once the target price is achieved and possibly getting much profits.

Buy altcoin when the price get low and sell them when I could earn  at least 10% of profit from the original price.
Those 10% of the profits is the amount I will use for a long term investmen.
I think 3 - 6 months are considered  long enough for crypto investment.
and i think only bitcoin that worth for a long term investment.

Coins which are unkown and rise quickly might be due to the dump and pump group so better to buy and sell them quickly if you getting good gains from it. Do not be too greedy because might be possible that it will never rise and you might lose out the gains from that coins.

I think that this is purely a private individual opinion with certain approach for trade coins. since every possible to have your style or features, thanks to which he or successful or not. but still happens in different ways, or sales low, on may buy on high price. good luck and failure go together next.

To make a profit in the short term, you probably need to invest in altcoins instead of Bitcoin. And the advice I want for you is to invest in some altcoins that are NEO, QTUM, Ripple, Litecoin because of the altcoins that are considered very potential, promising to go to the moon in Q4 years. 2018. You can refer to the discussion groups on Social to find some potential cryptos.
