I don't think crypto can kill money because the world still needs money for business transactions. Crypto may replace cash and electronic money gradually, but until crypto is prohibited in many countries we will still need fiat money.

The purpose of crypto is to create an alternate system, a better one not dependent on central institutions. So far, things are not going so well...  Roll Eyes

It will take hundred of years to terminate a fiat currency. Why? Fiat currency symbolizes a county's economy level and growth. If cryptocurrency will not be properly regulated, terminating a fiat currency is impossible.

It won't and can't replace fiat. Maybe Crypto can create a new marketplace. But it can't kill Cash or Fiat. There is still a difference between Digital cash and Touchable cash.

Today it looks as unlikely as in 2017. Euphoria from the growth of bitcoin cost has passed, people have become disappointed in the cryptocurrency. Many financial institutions say that cryptocurrency is not a means of payment.

I think sooner or later, yes, but I'm not sure that it will be one of the familiar crypto-currencies. Time will tell  Wink

I believe that the cryptocurrency is still some kind of evolution in a person's life. Always something new comes to replace the old, it always has been. The cryptocurrency world is still in the formation stage. And it will be a long time before the people understand that the future is for the cryptocurrency.

I think the happening of this kind of thing is gradually, people more and more accustomed to era, no cash, so this is a good thing, when encryption currency is used more frequently, so the price also will be high.

Maybe Cash and cryptocurrency could use both in the future. To think that there are countries especially in rural area or remote places that they don't even use cellphones even tribes in the provinces the can't adopt gadgets so in a way they use money/cash to purchase item on the market.

Over time, when cryptocurrencies are improved, people will understand that they are better than cash. Certainly counterfeiters will be a thing of the past.

I think that cryptocurrency has the potential to replace cash, but it is still far from being able to do so because the price of coins is too unstable. Let us think about it. If your electricity bill changes every minute, what do you think?

Exactly! Nobody wants to receive a salary that might be worth 50% the next day. If we want crypto assets to become the mainstream form of payments, we must accept regulation and stability.

It is conceivable that in the future world, people will no longer be waiting for cash and all will be paid by mobile phone or facial recognition. The function of cash is completely replaced. This is a historical necessity. Do not doubt that digital payment in China is now very developed. You can see it in the news.

Yes, I think the world of Cryptocurrency is still very much for it. Although the technology of digital currency is now a lot of people who love it and hope it is a technology of the future. For the current Cryptocurrency, himself is still in the form of updates to perfect technology.
