The XYO token carries a utility function, being a gas currency within the XYO Network protocol. The value of the token is affected by external factors: The demand for network services, the demand for Proof of Location and blockchain technology in general, the popularity of XYO in comparison with other solutions and internal fundamental factors, such as the economic state of the network, the balance of supply and demand from the miners and authors of information requests.

The XYO GAMMA Platform sale will continue up until either the launch of the XYO Mainnet and/or the XY Oracle Network is running on a stable ground via a healthy ecosystem.  What does this mean? It means when the XY Oracle Network has an active economy with the following characteristics:

1. There are over 10,000 unique end-users per day utilizing XYO for location-reliant transactions.
2. There are at least 100 active DApps built by Blockchain Developers that utilize the XY Oracle Network (with at least one “Killer DApp” that uses the XY Oracle Network).
3. A healthy crypto-economic market for providers of network data: i. Sentinels, ii. Bridges, iii. Archivists, iv. Diviners

The next step for the project, as advised on the roadmap, is  XYO GAMMA Platform sale. There is already a lot of tech that is in development that can get the network going.  The projected cap takes into account many factors such as business partnerships, further hardware development, and others.  With $48M, the team would expedite the efforts in getting the network to grow faster and larger as compared to without the funds.

All unsold and unallocated tokens after the XYO Token Main Sale will be burnt. Tokens for the GAMMA Platform Sale Public Token Pool would be allocated to be sold for GAMMA Platform Sale. The GAMMA Platform Sale is the sale of XYO tokens from the defined, finite, allocated XYO Token Pool after the main XYO Network Public Token Sale ends and all Unsold/Unallocated tokens are burned.
