Its possible they win but its not possible for them to stop people from still transacting bitcoin as its decentralized.... The only power they will have is by closing centralized exchange and people will still be making use of decentralized exchange...

These regulations also have a lot of advantages. Since they are putting restrictions on those suspicious ICOs the money of a lot of investors will be saved. Also, these fraud coins also hamper the image of bitcoins. Some of the people label whole crypto as scam because of these coins.
You are right. We must always think positively. The government must have clear reasons for the rules they make to limit cryptocurrency. It's all to give protection to its people

That was a slap on the face of all government that are trying to defame and kill bitcoin. Honestly, I don’t want to disrespect anyone but this desperation of authorities to take full control over the economy sometimes really get on my nerves. Bitcoin is giving a real tough competition and no matter what tricks anyone play, bitcoin can’t be stopped or taken away from its admirers.

If you don't know then let me tell you that Bitcoin is a decentralized currency. What this means is that no single party controls bitcoin meaning even if the governments ban bitcoin there are going to be nodes running and miners mining bitcoin all over the world and theres going to be at least one country who will be crypto friendly.

For me, if the government wins over bitcoin I become sad. Why? Because the bitcoin is my only source of income, as a student it is hard to earn money because i'm a student I don't have any work or job but here in bitcoin I considered it as my job.

Interesting and thought provoking. I would rather re-phrase for the convenience of my opinion to be ''WHAT IF THE GOVERNMENT WINS OVER THE PEOPLE? The narrative and primary purpose of bitcoin is actually more like 'a power to the people technology', this power as much as it initially focused on 'power of money to the people' have now been discovered to have even more capacity than that so we are just beginning. To answer the question succinctly, no government since the history of man has ever been able to win over the people, yes they may be able to suppress the people for a while, but the people always win, the most recent examples are the Arab spring uprisings that forced unpopular governments out of power or forced policy changes of government to be people centered. So i conclude, Government will never win over bitcoin.

I think that's impossible or so hard for government in the world to control crypto currency. But, nobody to knows what will happen tomorrow except if each of government in a country create their own crypto currency to be used. So, it's possible to come true.

Yeah a genuine good luck with that.  Bitcoin is way too powerful to be taken over by any world government.
Quite frankly, I don't even think most governments possess the power to regulate every single coin.

If this will happen that the government wins over BTC then maybe that winning is not about harming BTC,it is just the government will just put some regulation on it and if that is the case, that regulation will just look on what can be done for the betterment of BTC and so,time will come that there will be a safer BTC, minimizing the crimes, scams and hacking that is so rampant as of the moment,so everything will run for the goodness of BTC,nothing to worry about,Bitcoin will live forever.

No way no government can cintrol bitcoin or crypto currency more over every country trying to adopt blockchain technology . They are in plan to release their own crypto currency . More over torrent ban happened most of the countries still it’s running everywhere.

Acceptance is better than rejections. If regulation will give Cryptocurrency a great chance to be accepted worldwide then it will be great news. We can freely do whatever we wanted to do as long as we have complied with government policy and security measures. Doubts and fears from investors who wanted to invest in crypto will now be lessened if not totally gone. Expansion of businesses, enhancement of platforms and convert it to Blockchain Technology and the introduction of new technology. The possibility also of making Bitcoin or Cryptocurrency as one of the most popular alternate modes of payment will be a breakthrough for us.

I do not think there will be governments that win this war because Bitcoin and blockchain technology is very important for humanity so governments can't be disagree this technology
They have more chances to win in this war, govt is trying to find how this Bitcoin and blockchain technology will help them in the financial system suppose if they find the answer then Bitcoin will win, but i think they will not find so obviously Govt will win this war.

If governments really want to shut down Bitcoin I think they would have no problem doing it. But my guess is that they don't really mind if Bitcoin exists. In fact, at some point they will just force people to link their identities with their wallet .

If a single state wins against the btc it would not get anything because the transactions and the exchange would move to neighboring countries. The government would only be able to complicate the system a little. If all the states with a global agreement win united against the btc then maybe the problems could be much more serious.

Satans Us government does not have a problem with bitcoin. They created it.There used to be a website showing all the largest holders in btc, this is one of the reasons why I invested so much in it because it was revealed that back in 2012 the largest wallets with hundreds of thousands of coins was controlled by the US government. This means 2 things

1. the us government saw some new technology and decided to invest mass amounts of money buying it when the price was low

 or

2. The us government made it and did the initial mining and this is why they have so many coins

The government and the countries will never be able to stop the revolutionary technologies of blockchain, because these new technologies bring freedom, transparency and development for the society. Just some countries at first will be threatened by tight regulation of the cryptocurrency market, but then with the expiration of time they will understand that blockchain is more advanced and necessary technologies.

There is no benefit from the ban of bitcoin actually. Transactions will pass to the black market. Instead the state can impose a tax and get from it profit.

I think this is the biggest problem governments have with bitcoin is that the cannot control it an is why they want to discredit it as much as possible. It would be a different story if they had the lions share of it.
