There are still facebook bounty campaigns going around since not all of the ICOs advertisement has been totally banned, they even allow some sponsored posts when you open your news feed its just that limited compared before they implement banning of ICO projects.

Ads that violate the company's new policy will be banned in the main Facebook application, as well as in other locations where Facebook sells advertising, including Instagram and its ad network that hosts ads in third-party applications.
According to the company, one should not advertise what, according to her statement, is "financial products and services that are often associated with dubious advertising campaigns."

Until now many companies are starting their promotion in social media, one of them is Facebook. Why did they choose Facebook? because Facebook is a social media with the largest number of users and traffic. Advertisers will definitely choose a place that many people and crowded. That's with Facebook. For the ban problem, Facebook is currently not setting a policy on this, so I think it's safe.

I just saw that a bounty stopped their facebook bounty program and I read that they are stopping this program since facebook banned ICO advertisements. But I thought that individuals are free to post about the ICOs.

So someone please make clear that facebook totally banned ICO ads or not?

If yes means no more facebook campaigns right then what will be the effect on the ICO sale due to this kind of action.
I do not think that this ban is final because many companies are still paying for facebook campaing

I've seen some bounties still offering Facebook campaigns. And I still saw ico's ads or promotions in my Facebook wall. However, some ICO's didn't include it. There are Rumors that the reason Facebook is banning this ICO's is that they will create their own coin.

Whatever the reason of facebook for banning it, one thing I am sure about is there is "STILL"  ICOs organizing and running Facebook campaigns.

You can post about your ICO. You cannot ask people to participate though or advertise incentives like "25% off PRE-ICO participants!". You can however talk about your tech, your team, whitepaper, etc. Just don't ask for $ or advertise ICO promotions. I do a fair amount of advertising on Facebook and can confirm that they aren't just blanket banning ICO ads.

There are still plenty of campaign payouts for the facebook campaign you can find them. The ban on facebook advertising is only for people running ads. If you post your post properly you can get bonus from the campaign manager.

I don't think it will affect bounty. The ban relates to the paid ads on facebook platform directly through their interface. I don't expect facebook to block shares and mentions by the regular users

I do not see facebook bounty programs that stop because of banned facebook in ICO crypto. And another is not covered by facebook banning when we post about the ICOs. The only thing I know about stopping facebook is the adds that we see on the side of facebook page.

There still facebook campaign. If there is no facebook campaign. The project of the selected ICO will be known only to limited users only. Facebook helps spread the project and the plans for the ICO. Many users use social media to spread informations about projects and what going on on that day.

There were a lot of ICO advertisements last month so I think it was good for Facebook to ban those ads. I think it came to a point that ICO posts too are being deleted since I've seen some of my shared posts were deleted that time. Good thing they are allowing ICO posts nowadays for the benefit of Facebook campaigns which I am sharing everyday. I think there are still ICO related ads on my newsfeed sometimes so I guess Facebook still allows some post but probably they've minimized.

if we still abide by their rule i think it's still safe to promote ICO on facebook. and we won't get banned for that.
yesterday when i post for facebook campaign it got rejected and i think it already in effect to ban ICO ads on facebook, but after i remove the link that contain my refferal i can post it again, so it's mean we should carefully choose what we gonna post and remember don't contain any refferal link when you post on facebook.
here's facebook advertising policies about ICO you can check it.

As far as I understood, the FB banned ICO advertising and installed filters on the main words related to the ICO, I see that many bypass this ban

I think they still filter the links posted so I guess referral links will not work. I tried to share a post from an ICO a while a go and its working well so far, they probably just prohibits using links that can't be trusted to protect their users.

There gave less tokens for facebook campaign than for signature company. So I do not think that this is a big loss as for project developers and for users.

it seems this is due to the prohibition of promoting digital currency on facebook social media besides that I see many fb accounts are disabled because of doing so.

If the team behind the project is really good, then I can say that it wont affect that much, there's still a lots of social media site where they can still promote the project, facebook already implement some rules about promotions of new project and they really stop those post where we are free to invite people to invest with the project that we are supporting, they already strict about this matter, maybe they just wanted to protect their users not to become a victim of those ico project that doesn't have any real purpose.

As far as I know Facebook blocks public advertising ICO, as well as faced with the fact that blocked directly links to the project. Perhaps comrade Zuckerberg decided to follow in the footsteps of Durova, and thus just clearing my own path? )
