I think social media campaign in the like of Facebook is still operating. Facebook just don't allow those unwanted crypto adds because of the fact that there are lots of scam ICOs today that would eventually poison the minds of the people that would literally stain the reputation of bitcoin and cryptos.
But isn't it that Facebook has made a sudden U-turn and change their decision earlier? Now they are allowing crypto ads but it has to go to a lot of processes now before they are allowed to used Facebook as a means to promote their project. At least legitimate project nows has a avenue so facebook bounty campaigns will still continue. |

According news recently, Facebook haven't longer banned advertisement about ICO and cryptocurrency. And many Facebook campaigns are running normally at here

I just saw that a bounty stopped their facebook bounty program and I read that they are stopping this program since facebook banned ICO advertisements.But I thought that individuals are free to post about the ICOs.
So someone please make clear that facebook totally banned ICO ads or not?
If yes means no more facebook campaigns right then what will be the effect on the ICO sale due to this kind of action.
As of what I have observed, yes some new bounties are not offering facebook campaign now but they have twitter campaign and sometimes Instagram. Yes there are ICOS using instagram campaigns. But there are some bounties that still offer facebook campaign and are not totally ban in facebook. In fact, it is facebook I am using to search for new ICOs. |

Facebook had already lifted the ban on ICOs and crypto entirely. We are safe on Facebook and every social media

As far as I know, nowadays facebook did not banned cryptocurrency advertisement. And it is good to hear that, I think some altcoin campaigns are offering facebook campaign and twitter campaig, because we all know that this past few days social media banned it. It is really okay to have campaigns like that because it can be an extra income for us. |

Been doing facebook campaign for a couple of months and I think the ban didn't takes place. I am still seing many ICO ads in facebook. It will be hard for them to ban ads of ico because money talks. More ICO advertisement means more money. But I am not really sure if the ban takes place. Until now, most of them have facebook campaign. |

yes according to the news circulating the official owner of facebook prohibits any kind of ICO for promotion. he thinks it can hurt a lot of people because it is potentially deceiving. if facebook really prohibits ICO in there are still other media to promote ICO like Twitter and youtube. |

I think there will be some impact in the short term. But this is not necessarily a bad thing from the trend of development. It is important to know that many ICO are now considered as a fraud and are spreading a lot of negative news on these social media.

There are some bounty campaigns that facebook and twitter campaign is just one to gain the stakes, it means that the allocated budget for facebook and twitter campaign is now as one. But if facebook campaign will be no longer exist this will sure be a huge lost in advertising there projects.

Everything is normal with Facebook bounty campaigns. Just a little changed the rules, you can no longer advertise questionable projects.

You can see that when the ICO ban on Facebook advertising, good ICO projects still advertise normally and have reduced the bad ICO projects. I see now the projects still have the Facebook campaign and do not see the effect. Currently, Facebook has lifted the ban and it seems they also want to participate in this potential market. Some bounties that I joined in terminated the FB campaign because of their advertising ban. It seems that if the ICO promotion did not pay FB, maybe as an advertising fee, then their link is always deleted and marked as spam. Even on messenger, they always blocked the link and you can not send it.

Personally, I freely participate in bounty campaigns for advertising ICO projects on Facebook. In spring and in summer there were no difficulties. If such a ban appears, this will undoubtedly negatively affect the amount of funds raised by ICO projects and will become a problem for the development of crypto sphere.

From this more projects will suffer, than bounty hunters. Okay projects need advertising, and facebook is great for this, but on the other hand - I do not understand why people participate in this company. Payment is scanty, but there are many problems. So, I'm sure - hunters will not lose much from this ban.

the barn by facebook on cryptocurrency ICO links have actually limited loads of things in the ICO aspect of the advertorials on facebook and as such most people consider crypto currency as dead but this is entirely wrong. i think the main idea is just to watch out for ICO packages that are not real and get to stop them.

I don't think it will stop. But the terms and conditions have changed a lot. The project just need to modify the way of advertising.

I've heard that pages in the social networks of members of the bounty campaigns are banned. I think this is because of too high activity pages and not advertising

Facebook update their rules as regards to prompting ICO's but facebook campaign will still go on as long as the promotion doesn't go against facebook rules.

Say goodbye to lots of new investors buying into crappy ICOs. This will destroy the incentive for these ICOs.
Essentially only decent cryptos survive. Ethereum, Litecoin, Monero and a few others that have solid fundamentals (as of now, the future is never a certain thing) and won't be massively affected by these changes.
The biggest risk to crypto is simply investor sentiment. Once the spirit of most investors is broken through constantly seeing the money they invested, when the ATH was approaching, being whittled away to almost nothing.
