I just saw that a bounty stopped their facebook bounty program and I read that they are stopping this program since facebook banned ICO advertisements. But I thought that individuals are free to post about the ICOs.
So someone please make clear that facebook totally banned ICO ads or not?
If yes means no more facebook campaigns right then what will be the effect on the ICO sale due to this kind of action.

It is forbidden to publicly advertise ICO. But if you make a repost not associated with the ICO, then it will not be banned Therefore, many companies still spend bounty on facebook

To what i have seen in the facebook ads, some of the ICOs (legit ones) are still able to use the facebook paid advertising program which i suspectedly they will only restrict ICOs from joining if facebook thinkgs those projects arent legit.Facebook terms and conditions states that they wont be accepting any ICOs to use their paid advertisements but some has been using it for quite a whilte.. You are right facebook users are still allowed to post and promote using their facebook profiles, there are no current restriction from doing that,as far as i know if you arent violating any facebook guidelines your account will be safe from getting disabled.

People could still post links about cryptocurrency on Facebook. It's not like Facebook is trying to hunt everyone down.

Very well said, those legit ICOs are still be able to use the facebook advertising program and only those facebook thinks who are scams are restricted from joining their advertising program, people are indeed can promote ICOs in their own will and facebook doesnt have to do anything with the bounty's cancellation but you should ask your bounty manager on why did they stopped the campaign.

Very unfortunate when facebook campaign no longer exists. Because facebook is one of the very good promotional places when it wants to promote a project that does pre-ico or ico. There may still be a twitter campaign, but not everyone has twitter. So from that very unfortunate facebook campaign eliminated.

If it's legit one then facebook will allow you to advertise ICO. Nontheless if you endorse ICO that looks like scammy then stop advertising.

No more Facebook campaigns? How true is this? I have not really heard or read anything about this. I still have five bounty campaigns I'm doing on Facebook presently. Anyway, may be I need to find out more on this.

On my FB advertisement, I still see some ICO Advertisement in facebook, and I'm also a Facebook bounty hunter, And I didn't see a ban or Project that I join that closed their Facebook campaign. BTW my post on facebook about ICO is not ban by facebook, I think to facebook only their FB Advertisement and not the people advertising ICO.

Great news. I hope the campaigns now have more money for Twitter, media and signatures. It is obvious that spam in Fasebook is completely useless.

You should ask your bounty manager why the ICO's facebook bounty was removed,im sure there will be some explanation because to what i have read to the facebook terms and conditions, they will only restrict those ICOs from joining their paid advertisements and those people who are still going to promote these ICOs wont have any problem because they arent doing anything wrong, users can still promote their ICOs at their own will.

I have asked this query multiple time when the time Facebook and Instagram banned the Crypto related advertisement but still it can able work as a channel, page and shares by the other people. I do not believe completely facebook campaign will be vanished out because project looks for the people from the outside world also. So conclusion, we may find the more rules applicable on working for Facebook campaign.

Facebook are just banning those ads that contains ICO and its worth, Therefore those repost and some post created by anyone without the presence of ICO price and money involved will be okay. ICO only need to advertise for the world to know about their existence. So it's okay!

Yes, you are right. Also it will be more clear now, to check is the ICO legit or not. I'm participating in few bounty campaigns and didn't have such problem.

You can post about your ICO. You cannot ask people to participate though or advertise incentives like "25% off PRE-ICO participants!". You can however talk about your tech, your team, whitepaper, etc. Just don't ask for $ or advertise ICO promotions. I do a fair amount of advertising on Facebook and can confirm that they aren't just blanket banning ICO ads.

Publicly advertising ICO in facebook is totally banned. However, if the ICO will modify the way they advertise their project, then it will be banned. Facebook pages of ICOs are being monitored by facebook, thats why they are making other ways on how to advertise their project. Not totally banned, there are still many ICOs that have facebook campaign.

They have banned to encourage people take part in ICOs. You may be banned for a message like"invest in this ico: #link#" or smth like this. So be careful, although it is still not banned to spread the information.
