When was a lot of talking about cryptocurrency and ico, a lot of people decided to get in crypto and started to invest in ico. And they did't even try to find out what is the projects, they invest in. As we know majority of ico is scam, so many people lose their money. That's why they don't believe in ico any more and don't want looking for good projects. Everybody should learn more about crypto before starting to invest.

I just don't get why people aren't trying to push good projects more than they are trying to shoot down everything

Because some people think ICOs are all scams. Due to lack of knowledge about stuffs about ICO, they choose to stay away and avoid taking risks than doing research. Still, we cannot push people to believe to something they don't want to believe in the first place. It is their own preference. If they don't want to be educated, let's just let them be.
Yes exactly! Such people do not have enough courage to take the risk in participating and supporting any ICO because they think it is a scam giving no chance by making a research to a particular projects. Well, we can not judge them or force them to try even just once but we can help them to have a good realization by making our all effort to success but too risky. It's OK 'cause risk is always in every opportunity.

Some people do not believe in ico because there are also some ico that are unclear and likely already experienced with a hoax by an ico and therefore some people do not trust ico.

not all ICO altcoins that have good mission vision and roadmap guarantee that the project is good. It depends on the people in the project. Because I personally better follow the project in which there are already people who are experienced and have a good track record in the world of crypto. Because of the project's tendency to succeed depends on it. Writing a vision of a brilliant mission is easy, but to realize it will not be as easy as it is written, therefore some experts need to help realize the mission's vision.

considering how many real life startups fail within the first year, that combined with the current ico atmosphere(tons of scamming),
aswell as all the "pre-pre-pre sales" for whales, it's unwise to throw your money around unless you really know what you're investing in.

Because new ICOs nowdays are mostly scam proejects,i didnt say all but most of these projects are just being launched to raise funds and then eventually going to runway from the investors which is why i am not joining these ICOs because even those good looking projects might turn into scams which is why it is too risky.

Because many people do not really know about the ICO project. You should research and learn more about ICO projects through books, magazines or websites written about the ICO project of the cryptocurrency market. I am sure it will help you get a good ICO project for you to invest. Good luck.

We found that misinterpret the coins/tokens as dividends to the project's revenue not knowing and reading that it is a utility token which can be use the proposed platform. And if you are an investor that expecting high value after an ICO and the team will list on an exchange then sometimes you will be disappointed because of this ignorance. Please bear in mind though this tokens are tradable it still a has its general purpose and its actual use should be promoted so that project will be in industry for a long time and not like any other platform that after ICO and pumping of price, they're gone.

a lot of ico disappointed in 2017)) there is a prerry big risk compared to the profit, it is easier to buy on the stock exchange the asset you need. You have less money, but you do not have so much risk

Most of them struggle to even get listed on exchanges. I remember there was an ICO named sharder protocol, couple of months back, it was too hyped. And now whoever bought in is crying. It's not even trading. I have been burned by football coin in the past in the same way.

it is not about faith it is about the facts. faith without the support of facts is not good and the end result will be very bad. it needs facts first before you believe in that project or else you just blindly following that project. also many ICOs today are scam and they improve their way of doing scams and sometimes what you see that you believe to be true might be false. so it is good to ask others if you don't know if the ICO is scam or not.

This person right here says everything, because of scams, a good ICO needs to be REALLY good and CLEAR, with supporters and everything.

People who don't understand or underestimate the value of the ICO's will have no faith. People will have their own opinions they need to study and understand before having faith or coming to any conclusion.

A very large number of ico is a scam, unkind people do this to raise money, suddenly stop ico and delete all data from the Internet. And investors who have participated in such ICO and lost their money, and mostly they think about fraud about all the ico that are going. It is very difficult to find a really high-quality project.

Scam ico are common these days, it is no easy to find a real project. That is why many investors are so scared of investing, it seems investors have no faith in ico anymore because of that.
