The key here is to hold the right coins: for example Ethereum since ICO or Darkcoin/Dash since it first went live. Also Monero. How about Doge? Now that's the wrong coin to hold.

You are right and this is the most important. If the coins are worthless now they will be worthless in a year or two as well. Everybody should pick very careful the coins that is investing to.

There is an old discordian saying:  bullshit makes the flowers grow.

Holding, given time and a fruitful coin, leads to rare riches rarely found at a coins early stage of growth.

yep it depends on the coin you plan to hodl so for example bitcoin is best thing to hodl for its ver likely that its much more worth in the future but some not established token may be worthless in the future
Even holding is tiring, but i dont still think that holding is bullshit, for me holding a right coin that has a future can really help us to became profitable, just like holding ethereum and bitcoin for long time, it will surely help us to have a big amount of money and holding a good coin is really worth it to do.

That's funny.  I bet as soon as you sell them, then the price will go up!  You might cop another coin and see what you think, just don't overdo it Smiley.

To hold the shit for many years - it is valid shit, you study from those years when you here because if you learn something, you learn that these coins are short-lived, useless pieces of shit - the correct phrase for your coins because it is actually nonsense. You have to do many researches before carrying out certain coins because you will spend a lot of time and opportunities.

Pick your investments wisely.  Sure, sometime the project loses direction and the coins stagnate, and in those cases you have to either cut your loses or settle in for the longterm, in the hope that the devs eventually get things back on track...Smiley

Doge is death coin with no developer since they leave the coin without any development ao what to expect from this? Nothing. Dont invest to it.
Choose the rght one is the first ey to win in the long term holding but how can we make sure to choose the right one? Its difficult and its only include in lucky.

holding more than 1 year is not recommended. ideally holding only one year, that's my opinion. but I have some friends who do that, holding up to 3 years

No, in my opinion this is a great strategy for those who do not want to take risks or just do not have much time for this! Also, with such a strategy, beginners should begin to not lose all their money!

My personal hunting, Holding a coin is not a bad idea. The idea of holding a coin for profit depends on what you hold. Not all valuable coins last long. You'd better do some research on a coin before deciding to hold it. And spend a lot of time, even seeing it if you keep it all the time you'll get huge profits. So take the time and choose a decent coin.

I hold 3 coins espers-(3 years),insane-(2 years),html - (5 years) Shocked and price is the same....no moon ....I dont trust to holding anymore,any suggestions?
I prefer to hold. because by holding a lot of potentials to increase the price of a coin. besides withholding able to hold the market to not decrease.
so the market will remain and continue to increase. so I prefer to hold it. because the risk of holding opportunities is smaller.

It depends to the coin you hold. because when you hold a coin that is so successful, for sure it will pump after a year, or many years. For example, the coin you get is so successful, and then bitcoin experts predict that bitcoin will pump before the year ends, so when bitcoin pump, for sure that your coin will pump also. And i believe holding is the key to gain huge profit!

Of course, it's better to sell coins at a peak, but not everyone knows how to do it. This requires experience and skill to use special indicators.

saving and holding a longer coin in the wallet may be profitable if the coin has a good prospect but if the coin does not have it I think selling it sooner would be better

maybe all the coins that you hold not developing at all, that's why the price does not go up
but it all depends on luck in my opinion, if the project find the right way surely the price will rise rapidly

You simply chose coins without potential and spent a lot of time, even looking at it if you kept it all the time you would have had a huge profit.

Holding is bullshit depending on the useless token you are holding onto. Also, note that some alts have already appreciated in price, last year alone check some alts prices then tell me if those holding them are actually holding bullshit. Do your research proper and you will end up holding good tokens and coins with working products.

holding can be a double edge sword. Sometimes it keeps you away from selling early and to have more profit and sometimes it keeps you away from a possible profit and just lead to a further loss. Just always set your target and follow it .
