I always see this thread popping up again. Google already banned ICO ads to protect the consumer on picking ICO that usually turns out to be a scam after they collect enough fundings from the community.

I do not think so, the profit from advertising ICO in Google is amazing, if it is not limited to very strict laws, then I think that Google will not give up such a big profit.

I read an article about this please take a look

https://www.financemagnates.com/cryptocurrency/news/exclusive-google-quietly-purging-cryptocurrency-ads-content/

I'm not sure if this is true
what are your idea about this?

well, I have not read or heard that google will truely ban the ICO and crypto related ads. So I do not now if its a fake news or not to alarm us that all of famous social media will banned bitcoin. But here in forum there are some topics that tackle about that facebook, twitter and google are banning the ICO and crypto ads. If this thing is true, well we can not blame them to banned bitcoin, for sure they only follow their admins. So even though it its fake news or not, still let's continue to expand our knowledge in crypto world so that we can understand them why they need to banned bitcoin and why should they let bitcoin to growth with them.

Well this is past news and Google has already banned ICO related ads but this was one step that was although negative in the short term for the crypto markets but in the long term it is going to turn out to be very positive. As most of the ICOs were preying for new users and scamming them, which was making them afraid of crypto markets and turning them away.

Google will banning ICO and crypto, I think it's just a rumors. There are no official published article regarding Google will ban ICO and crypto related ads, so it simply means that it can be considered as a "rumor" for now. Let's just wait on upcoming news about this rumor, if it's official or not. If that banning will be happen is not now may it will take a couple of years or decades. Why Google looking on that ICO or crypto is not illegal and there was nothing rules in Google disobeyed by the ICO or crypto. You may now continue and invest ICO or cryptocurrency.

Corporations like Facebook and Google are trying to stop cryptocurrency's momentum.
There must some proper system in place to verify how legit an ICO is for example. I've read about so many scams and that keeps people away from crypto.

People and corpporate media are manipulating the news to be very honest. The truth is, google will only ban ICO and cryptocurreny ads which tgey deem are violating the standards of the agreement. Basically, any ICO that spam, or did anything that violated the agreement, will be banned from advertising. Elite and Capitalists are only making it look like gpogle will completely ban all ICO ads to demoralize us investors.

I don't know whehter it is true or not but i have heard about it. I believe Google wants to launch their own digital currency. They are trying to remove the competition and are trying to play monopoly. They are making a big mistake.

The cryptos are a recent reality that has surfaced for many investors last year with the great appreciation of bitcoin. Many scam projects have come up, see bitconnect and pincoin and this has caused a lot of damage to people. Google, Facebook and Twitter, fearing possible lawsuits, have decided to ban paid ads. They may review this situation as soon as the regulations are defined by countries, mainly preventing scam projects from appearing and minimally protecting investors.

google is ban all crypto related ads and promotions. The company will no longer allow ads about cryptocurrency-related content, including initial coin offerings (ICOs), wallets, and trading advice across any of its ad platforms.

do not immediately believe the news in the media. we must remain focused for what we are currently living, trading or investing in ico. I think it's an attempt to drop the crypto price and they want to take that chance and take huge profits.
Agree, we don't believe in that news, just continue to trust. You should not believe immediately what you hear in the news, just focus on what are you doing right now, ignore that kinds of news. Instead believe that Google may help to improve or promote crypto around the world.

We heard of that in the beginning of this year when the bad news were upsurging over here. I learnt they said it shall happen in June but June is almost over and they're silent over it. I still see the ads. Maybe they've revised it.

I think these are just rumour. Because there no official news relating Google will ban ICO and crypto related ads. So it's safe call it just rumor for now. But if this true, this obviously bad news for cryptocurrency.

The practice of banning cryptocurrency ads by Google isn't entirely certain, which of course has troubled developers' intentions in socializing their products, as well as being a serious problem and concern in most of the other bitcoin and cryptocurrency users on a prolonged basis, if this continues this, the state of the cryptocurrency's feared will continue to weaken. Prices are still prone to sharp and pointed down, but dulled up

I am not sure on this because I think I have stumbled upon some ICO and cryptocurrency-related ads in Google just days ago. but if Google will remove the cryptocurrency ads I hope it does not trigger the bitcoin price reduction.

Do not be too confident about the media and it just makes FUD just for Bitcoin, the evidence is now ads on Facebook and Google are still there.

keep thinking positively because Cyrptocurrency is a potential new currency for the future and for the good of us all.

I think it is highly likely we will see a modification on the part of Google as we did with Facebook. There are too many variables in the types of business to institute a blanket ban. It makes far more sense to go after bad actors than to punish legitimate businesses.
