This may fail. The others may fail. But at least one of them will succeed. You have to accept that eventuality. It's not a question of if, it's a question of when.

We need what is best for the currency, network, technology, etc. and NOT what is most profitable for the miners (of which I am one!) Leave the "It's about ME" sign at the door, and take part in the largest social experiment in our history. May what is strongest and most anti-fragile win, that will serve the people the best, And don't forget, Its about sharing

BTC = Black Swan. BTC = Antifragile - "Some things benefit from shocks; they thrive and grow when exposed to volatility, randomness, disorder, and stressors and love adventure, risk, and uncertainty. Robust is not the opposite of fragile.

Thank you for the information.
I think one of your first priorities right now should be to improve communitation and show that you are not scamming people. From my point of view answering the following questions would really help, among a lot more questions which people has asked here before:
1. Updated Proof of work of the asic scrypts. Photos, videos, real working scrypts in pools, true tests which people can easily verify. 2. Photos and videos of the company, photos of all employeers, more detailed personal information of employers and other companies involved in the project. If you look at Space X company, they (Elong Musk) have a really nice way of communicating with people with a lot of interviews and videos online. 3. Adding a forum in your site will help to ask a lot of questions.

I wonder if this sentiment is why there's so much mud slinging in this thread. Some posters seem sincere in their scam fighting, while for most it seems like a blatant attempt to make Alpha T look bad.

Your over you are is common grammar mistake in UK.
Sorry, but it is no mistake and it is you who needs to correct his grammar. He said "Hey I can't really answer your questions" which is correct, he is not saying "You're" or "you" as that would not make any sense at all. In this instance he used to correct wording. I am also looking forward to fiaz answering a few of these questions put forth by crazyearner. Especially the one mentioning visiting the premises of your business. Read again... Hey I can't really answer your questions without knowing them. Your welcome to PM me. Fiaz. Looks like you forgot to log out of your alt account again.

From the standpoint of architecture and basic engineering, I find it borderline sci-fi to be reducing the physical footprint of the thermal space by 80%, increasing the density of chips, maintaining the same hashrate, all while reducing the power usage. Can you even do the math on the efficiency factor for that? A+B = Astonishing, that's what it is.
For this to be legit, would be groundbreaking. Not saying it's not legit.. but it was at least realistic during the preorder stage when the system was a full-height case. Kindof hard to believe at this point without so much as a technical drawing..

If a derivatives market for something like this exists, I will happily put my money on Alpha Technology not releasing their miner on time.
Expecting some exclamatory news like a fire at the business that "destroyed everything" or a shadowy government intervention that shut them down at some point as we get closer to the release date, but certainly not until they are able to take in a little bit more preorder money!
I hope things pan out and all of what they say is legitimate, it just throws off way too many BS alarms for me. Hopefully Alpha Technology will answer some of the questions asked earlier in this thread either via e-mail or directly in the thread to help clear the air.

I'm not supporting anything though. Merely posing a question. Are some poster negative about companies launching scrypt ASICs because they are afraid of it ? So many people in this thread just post knee-jerk replies it's not even funny. Can't we have rational discussion on this forum anymore ?

I agree. Those of us asking technical quesitons, especially from the angle of engineering probability, are being ignored by the company. I've seen a few rational questions posed to the fellow in the past page or 2 which have been ignored, unless he's simply waiting for a response from the company--in which case, he should say "I have acknowledged these questions and am awaiting response" or something to that affect.

Yes, schematics, pictures of production, and/or in-depth tech discussions would be helpful and reassuring at this phase. The window for no-penalty cancelation is fast approaching and I'm sure you are going to lose a lot of people without some proof of these, frankly, hard-to-swallow claims.

well if you did paypal with a credit card (amex in my case) you are good for 45 days paypal and 60 days amex
but then again i'll likely pull my order with out more pics and info from their claims before 30 days are up just to be safe
also if they we're legit ...assuming they are NOT organaized enough to get us this info
they could on an act of good faith extend their "no penalty option" to 60 days or more....
would probably be no big deal because their timeline is JULY
another reason I may bail ..no reason this 1/3 down 1st payment should not be longer then 30days imho for the timeline they posted
anyway my 2c worth

(sorry BFL curse of bitcoin pre-ordering stuff....you guys may be OK but too many of us we're burnt by BFL and others don't ya know)
P.S. as a side note i have all the equip scattered around the house i need to toss up a GPU miner for litecoin....have it all with a amd card etc that i can put to this use...that being the case is it worth getting a couple 1000mh cards for say 900 bucks as my only expense to pop this rig up with 2 of them and the 7950 i have already (also have 1200i power supply corsair to use)...so for the only expense of the 2 other cards say 900 bucks I have a rig?
again only expense is the 900 bucks for the high end other 2 cards (assuming they work with a 7950 sappaire card in the same box)
i'm bored KNC is not releasing any more Jupiters (thus the corsair 1200i) and looking around i have everything else...figured expand my horizoins (burn elec is the more likely result)
thoughts ... advice.......I'm a complete noob on scrypt mining
anyway thanks in advance
we now return to our regularly scheduled program drama "Is Alpha legit or not and/or will it break our little miner hearts" soap opera?
(gets fuzzy blanket and popcorn.....OK go!)

Old Style Legacy Plug & Play BBS System. Get it from www.synchro.net. Updated 1/1/2021. It also works with Windows 10 and likely 11 and allows 16 bit DOS game doors on the same Win 10 Machine in Multi-Node! Five Minute Install! Look it over it uninstalls just as fast, if you simply want to look it over. Freeware! Full BBS System! It is a frigging hoot!:)

Thanks for the information Fiaz. This will keep the naysayers at bay for a few days I think " 7) You will be given a full warrantee, which is a guarantee from us. Again we do not control the value of individual cryptocurrencies, however, we do guarantee our original shipping deadline, which we are working on beating. If at the worst case scenario shipping is delayed we will work on some sort of repayment. " I think it might put a lot of customers at ease if Alpha-T would alreade make a promise on the sort of repayment that would be offered in case of delays. Extra hashing power, for example. When is the forum launching ? Looking forward to joining !

Fiaz, quick question for you.
If all goes as expected, I assume you will start working of more powerful machines, My questions is this:
Will first batch clients get dibs on your next batch. It would suck if we were forgotten when pre orders are taken for batch 2.

Already Answered: This message is to all batch 1 customers, regarding you having preference in future releases. This will indeed be the case, you will all be given priority in subsequent batches and our future products. It is because of you that this has been made possible so thank you from everyone at Alpha Technology.
Regards,
Fiaz.
