anyone who is dumb enough to give btc/money to this obvious scam deserves to lose it all. We are not in the bfl/avalon era anymore. No sympathy when you come here whining in Sept for non-delivery.

Wow, nobody's said  that in this thread before!  So original, please talk to us like we're 12 years old...

greed makes many behave like 12 yearolds here.

ps it's time for your nap.

I don't think that they will be able provide any miner at specified time... nothing showed apart updates and overpriced , I would like more get one miner from Fibonacci then from Alpha which are middle man between designer / manufacture and customer...

Be careful when you request a refund!

Altough they process it instantly but they don't refund the full amount. Right after processing it they send an e-mail stating that "As per our cancellation policy you will be refunded 75% of your deposit, minus £70".
As almost no one reads such policies and people logically expect to receive 100% refund it is an abvious exploitation of a customer.

If you do request a refund and only receive a percentage contact trading standards (in the UK) and find out what your rights are. I made a long post about this earlier in the thread and I believe what they are doing is illegal. But it is up to you to find out for yourself.

Hey folks!

We would like to assure you we are very aware of our competitors hash rates and pricing and intend to match them, we started development in May 2013 and are on schedule to ship in July giving us the clear lead. During development we decided to make our units larger and upgradable so we could accommodate increased hash rates with ease, we gave ourselves this leeway for a variety of reasons. And the announcement of Scrypt miners from competitors was of course one such reason that we anticipated and planned for. A full announcement with details on our new batch 1 hash rates will be released very soon!

Nice reflexes there sport! Caught that hot potato. So were you just hoping no one else would release so you could sell a lower spec at higher price?

BTW KNC started development a while ago and have a proven track record of delivering equipment on time and over spec. I know where my money's going.

Well Butterly Labs have upgraded their customers 250%
Instead of a 600GHs Monarch they get 1 THs Imperial Monarch the minute they ship PLUS a free 600 Monarch at the end of the queue

So Fiaz my dear good friend i think you have a few ways out of this, before the hoolligangs become langoliers

1. You can have a chat with your guys in Dexel and have them put some fairy dust into the chips so that it performs better

or

2. You can offer one or two or whatever extra cards for your batch 1 customers and work out better pricing for your batch 2

Having started in May 2013 is not looking good for you at the moment, what you're saying is that you've had way more lead time yet your final product will be 400% slower than your competitor who just started

Not pressing you to lose money but something is wrong and an announcement will probably make things worse if it has nothing tangible around the following fact:

People who did NOT trust you are now in 400% better position than people who DID trust you, so work out some magic.

I find it hard to believe that you're going to upgrade us to match KnC even though you'll likely end up shipping around the same time...but I can't wait to hear the plan.

Translation: We can't screw everyone quite as badly as we'd planned to, now that competition has emerged and they are screwing everyone a lot less. So instead of making an insane profit, we've been reduced to making a reasonable one after we add additional hardware to our units.

The Gridseed was dead before not on arrival because their policy was clear: for every $6 you give us, $1 goes for development, 1$ for your product and 400% for us to make free hardware with your money.

For Alpha-t i will be seriously willing not to pay the remaining 70% and get a 75% refund of the deposit minus 70£ i will still be better off than with junk 5MHs when everybody else is mining by the 100 MHs

There are many ways Alpha-t can recover, for example open batch one again for more people with a large ticket fee of say 10%, of course no one will take that offer before a singing and dancing prototype is produced.

Wow, KNC putting out a 100Mhs Miner for $10,000 USD?
When did they start having those for pre-order?
That is a game changer.

BTC = Black Swan.
BTC = Antifragile - "Some things benefit from shocks; they thrive and grow when exposed to volatility, randomness, disorder, and stressors and love adventure, risk, and uncertainty. Robust is not the opposite of fragile.
