Same here. Is there going to be compensation of any sorts? Also, I read something disturbing...if CEX.IO or GHASH.IO go bankrupt or something...then it means all our GH/s just die and we never even get our money back??

You know I was just thinking last night is it safe to leave my funds in CEX? I don't want to keep taking them out and putting them back in but I wondered what would happen if they decided to close down.

It's not about the funds you left there, it's the GH/s...do they like refund us or something? I mean, imagine if you invest 20btc, in 3 months before you even break even from the mining, they shut down...what happens with the miners, where is our money??

Well, if you have 20BTC worth of hashing power (200Ghash @ 0.1) they should allow you to redeem the hardware and have it sent to you

It would be nice if CEX would weigh in on this. This is their official page. All my hashing power is down. Purchased and personal mining hardware.

#cex-squawk on freenode is the first place i check. Twitter is the second and their official page here is the third. I guess we'll have to sit and wait. At least people are still trading.

I have asked this countless times and just out of sheer curiosity. Their about page obviously says their out of  cyprus but what does that mean? Is that their business/office address or legal address. Where is the datacenter, etc etc. How did CEX.IO pop out of nowhere like they did or did I miss something. Again, out of sheer curiosity who is the team behind CEX.IO because this is a hell of a venture and they have done a hell of a good job thus far.

Is there a way to get notifications from CEX.IO when your buy/sell order is executed? It's daunting to constantly check what happened to an order.

Please post all feature requests on our forum. As soon as the proposed feature gets enough votes - it will be implemented.
