bitcoin is designed to change the way we do things will achieve its goals eventually.The current model of things is that of a centralized system,where we have 'gate keepers' who stand as intermediary when value (money) is being transferred.The world is moving towards a decentralised system because there seem to be a decline in people's trust in government and these 'gate keepers'.Bitcoin removes these gatekeepers and creates a trustless society where people can transfer value from peer to peer.In this way,bitcoin can change the world.

Of course bitcoin can change our world. If we earn a lot of money in bitcoin it can change a life of a person. They can buy all their needs and wants. Because money is powerful you can do more of you have money.

Hi there perfryan, Bitcon is indeed changing the world of currency flows. To give an example is much better, let say you want to pay for a certain service or product but you don't want the company knew who you are or your credit card name is. The only option you could do this is to use crypto currencies. This technology comes with anonymity, you cannot be tracked thru the payment method. The decentralize technology let the blockchain perform its jobs. After paying, the public decentralized ledger will be updated for your particular transaction. Since it is decentralized it is hack proof. so any changes to a single ledger will be denied by all.

I would say YES! people will change our world especially the technology. We will used blockchain technology, using digital money aside of fiat money. Banks will be closed and digital wallet will be use. Transactions and communication will be done online. People will prefer to use bitcoin as their currency aside from that bitcoin will be legalize and accepted worldwide.

Yes, it can change the world. But not now, probably. Changes may come in the future, probably if bitcoin become the global currency. Then, that is a huge change in the world. But I think that it brought changes in the world today. When I first heard of all this years ago, I wrote it off as short-lived and paid little attention. I had a cushy corporate job and certainly could’ve afforded to invest a decent amount but chose not to dig deeper/learn more. I tried to play responsibly... 401k, safe stocks, blah blah blah.

Got sick, lost the job, lost retirement/savings and am anxiously awaiting a social security disability hearing. If only I had looked into it.

10 btc now would eliminate most of my day to day fears. 100 would be life changing for me and my kids and maybe the next generation or two if invested wisely. No use beating myself up for it, but mannn - if I had only looked into it (and subsequently forgot about it until this recent health/financial crisis). Crazy to think about.

I can argue with you. Business security with bitcoins is a very controversial thesis. When you send bitcoin transactions, they can no longer be returned. You do not know the recipient personally. What are your actions if your partner receives payment and does not fulfill its obligations to you? In banks, your payments are more secure.
