the pros and cons that exist in bitcoin for now this may be one of the factors that cause bitcoin can not be used as a global currency that can be adopted by each country. but that does not mean it can discourage the existence of bitcoin as a decentralized virtual currency. because I think it will be a lot of people who like bitcoin so bitcoin will remain the choice of every person who wants to save financial assets in the form of crypto.

It could be nearly impossible for bitcoin to become the global currency, but the possibilities to become the most used and most reliable method of payment around the globe is not impossible, because it has been gradually known worldwide and more and more people are already use it as a method of payment.

Wars are happening because countries do not agree on some things so a currency that can be use by anyone in the world is not possible for me. I don't think we would be able to enforce it that very country accept bitcoin because each has different views of it. Some legalized it and some ban it because they cannot see the importance of it that's why it would be hard to make it a global currency. Because until now there's a lot of people who cannot know how to used bitcoin and other crypto currency, it was due to they have a lack of knowledge regarding using of this coins as exchange of items. Currently Bitcoin is considered to be too slow for a currency by you, but what happens when lightning network has been fully deployed globally? Is Bitcoin then too fast for a currency? It's clear that whatever Bitcoin is doing or capable of, people will always try to nitpick about other aspects. First Bitcoin was too slow. The question you should be asking yourself is that which country is actually willing to do that ?
We are talking about the opposite of centralization here which the system of governance and banking of most countries are already accustomed to and we cannot just expect that to be given up for any reason. That is by the way.

OP really made some valid point and it seems the idea of centralization when it comes to market movement is still in play anyway since the whales still control things for their own greed. So, at the end, some will always have the power to always control things.

It's not possible dude, cause those main country specially in US, they are not allowed bitcoin to be a currency. Also, in a large land of China, the bitcoin is banned already. So do you think it will be a global currency?

I don’t think so that there can be any such reason which can stop bitcoin from being a global currency. In fact, bitcoin is the global currency as the people living in all the corners of this world are busy in investing of their money into any of the crypto coin and that they are doing it without any worries. There is no such restriction which can stop you from investing in bitcoin or from becoming the owner of the bitcoin.

Indeed, in every country in this world there will always be bitcoin users. But it doesn't mean everyone (all human) in this world uses bitcoin. The OP said 'global currency' so that's meant is everyone in this world accept and use bitcoin. And now to make bitcoin into global currency will be hard to realize. Government regulation and the characteristics of bitcoin is not suitable for use as currency. Bitcoin users will prefer bitcoin as an investment place, they are ralely use bitcoin as a means of payment.
