hmm, at this moment of course it cannot, but who knows what is going to happen in the future. I think that if BTC will be being developed in the future like it is happening now so i think it might be a global currency in a few years

Yea, Bitcoin cannot be a global currency because its goal is to overturn the financial system of current world. The resistance is really strong.

But if Bitcoin is "centralized" in the future, maybe it can be  a global currency.

I think it won't go well with governments, some nations may have accepted bitcoins and
that's quite a good thing, talks of regulations and taxes may seem to indicate that the
probability of bitcoins becoming a global currency is gaining momentum. But until bitcoins
become stable and fully reliable, I think it's better of as a currency and a commodity.
Though I firmly believe that Bitcoin is the universal global cryptocurrency today, it's the
reigning supreme king of them all, it's influence and impact is paramount.

Well many countries are rejected and banned bitcoin and cryptocurrency. It might hard to accept but i think it takes time to makes cryptocurrency and blockchain technology being accepted by other countries. I'm sure someday in the future, we will apply these into our life, maybe not now but in the future.
Yep, most of countries in most parts of the world are trying to reject or even ban people from using bitcoin on their country. Recently, there have been lots of bad news. As far as we know that bitcoin is quite popular right now. Moreover the speed of development is really fast, even it takes big impact to global economy gradually. All of those reasons can lead bitcoin to be accepted in someday, it is probably an extra currency in the world which helps bitcoin users easily use bitcoin.

Why not?
When bitcoin has been developed, it is popular.
Of course in the present bitcoin can not be called popular in all countries, But in the future it is possible, but the best way to put bitcoin into the best money, should be used as a credit card easy to exchange, pay
Why not? I say, it because bitcoin is already banned in United States and China for some useful reason. Which mean, the future global currency is not possible if the two of the largest country is already banned bitcoin. Think about it folks.
The ones who have studied a lot about the bitcoin and the ones who know the worth of the bitcoin will never support this argument because of the reason that they are very aware of the potential of the bitcoin and that they are very much hopeful that bitcoin will be a global currency one day. It is just a matter of time and that with the passage of time, bitcoin will prove its worth.

As I said earlier, there are both positive moments about the future of bitcoin, as well as negative aspects.
But if people believe in bitcoin - it will exist!

I believe that a time may come when bitcoin (or some other alt coin) will become a global currency. Popularity of fiat will slowly disappear. Who knows poverty might disappear too.

As we can see that 40% of investments go exactly into bitcoin and also to develop the infrastructure of the bitcoin network, then the future is behind it! Smiley
If we look at the awareness rate of the crypto currencies especially bitcoin in the entire world, then we will get to know that there is only 1 % population in the entire world who knows about it. By looking at this, we can say that bitcoin cannot be a global currency for now but this does not certainly mean that bitcoin can never be the global currency. Bitcoin is having enough potential to get recognized but it will take some time.

yeah, we can waiting for that time to comes so we can see that bitcoin will be accepting in all country and will become a global currency. but for now, I think it is enough for us to use bitcoin for a source of income so we can collect more bitcoin from day by day so when the time it comes, we are ready to sell our bitcoin to make a lot of money. I hope that bitcoin will solve all people's problem in financial so they can follow us to try to make money in the crypto world.

I do not understand why people do not trust bitcoin, because there's really nothing else to trust. People have long been disappointed in the banking system. There is one hope - it's crypto-currencies!

YES i agree in this statement. Bitcoin cannot be a global currency because first of all it is not centralized and in this world all of the business even it is a currency it should be legalized by the government i am not saying that it is not legal but the government must be a part of it and we knew that some government are still against in bitcoin.

Technology believers believe that bitcoin is the mission of decentralization, the future of the world currency.

Bitcoin will not become a world currency. He will try to take on some of the online payments, but the global money will remain the fiats of governements

As what I have observed bitcoin now is actually used as a currency worldwide. Even if other countries banning it. It is actually used in payment across the globe. So, that only shows bitcoin is now becoming a global currency wither we like it or not.

Technology believers believe that bitcoin is the mission of decentralization, the future of the world currency.

BTC just need, relative scarcity and the manufacturing cost, nature has the price, the price is the fluctuation, as long as access to the securitization in the human history of human use of the most profound institutional invention, the currency is likely to generate huge profits.

You have a lot of money and you have followers. With followers there is a crowd. The masses will naturally divide.

With differentiation, there is naturally a blank majority. Naturally, there are evil men who have been swindled. Nature has its center and leadership.

This is the history of bitcoin's journey along the way, which is why the BTC creator went to the center to turn the government against the pursuit of liberalism.

But on a philosophical basis, technologists are wrong.

The beginning of human birth is said to be monkeys. No government, no center. No money, no inflation. Government is not the product of power, but the government itself is the product of liberalism.

Because freedom must be evil, freedom itself creates chaos, and chaos leads to the pursuit of order, thus freedom produces power and bad power transition to good power.

In the world of BTC, new centralization has begun:

Global mining is concentrated in the hands of a few. The maintenance and development of bitcoin is concentrated in the hands of few digital farmers. The influence of virtual currency is concentrated in the hands of a few big v.

They are the new army, the new bureaucracy, the new emperor. Are these people trustworthy?

The emergence of BTC is a technological advance in the history of human currency. It makes up for the deficiency of the existing monetary system and should also promote the reform of the existing monetary system.

Like insurrection, it is either extinguished or assimilated into the long river of history.
Bitcoin is a global currency, as Bitcoin is worldwide, but many countries also do not use Bitcoin, as some countries enforce Ban Bitcoin, but more countries use Bitcoin. Many countries because they want to associate Bitcoin, it's a big company or big investor.

It will. NASA then Amazon are now entering blockchain. Those are huge names and they have a lot of money. It would be stupid for someone to not accept that bitcoin will dominate all the currencies.
Even with all these big institutions entering the blockchain industry, I do not see how that would make bitcoin to become the only single currency used worldwide. Firstly, most of the points mentioned by the OP obviously show how monopoly is already present in the system and of course, even without that, I do not expect any country to even get rid of fiat in the first place for bitcoin.

Nevertheless, I know there is still a huge way for bitcoin to go but I wonder how things would pan out before then will be deciding how effectively bitcoin may become a global currency. Unlike gold or USD, bitcoin will become a everybody's global currency. I mean we may directly use bitcoins for international transactions and local transactions as well.

This is difficult to perform and I am sure that it will take a lot of years, but for me there is no doubt that it is possible. But is this necessary?

It still will. Those who banned crypto in their country will catch up once they realize that bitcoin is dominating the financing institutions in many parts of the world. It's just like any other tech that should be used by many people first until other follow next.
