The majority of ICO projects are scam, which no one can deny. If we aren't careful before investing, 100% we will encounter these projects. There should be a certain punishment for them.

We need to be very careful not only when investing in icos but in any other form of investment, people are not used to investing and whenever they see something that seems good they want to invest their money in there, I have seen this kind of scam done in the real world as well and it is not pretty to hear the stories of people that invested all their money and they lost everything.

I totally agree with your opinion, sir. But I still doubt why there are too many people who want to invest in the big amount of investing in ICO. I hope they really trusted the team behind the project and believe about the future their ICO. Am I ever thinking too, what is they investing in ICOs because may be a place to money laundering? Maybe this is the reason why the government want to (should be) regulating the cryptocurrencies especially in ICOs.

It is good to be careful then crying over spit milk we are bitcoin users so we should know it all, bitcoin has bundle of profit and more surprises but most of them are scams so be very careful while you are choosing bitcoin, don’t open all kinda site to buy bitcoin, keep your wallet private key safe and sound, don’t let anyone to know how much you are going to invest, while you are investing try to buy for long term investment.

Every project we don't know if it's successful or not , if it's legit or scam because you do not  know what happen in the future. Yes you need to be vigilant to the project or ICO you invested because you did not know what really possible to happen. Even you are sure to that project you need to control your self to invest only the extra money incase it will failed you will not cry in the end because you have other money that you can use for success.

Yes, this is very confusing to choose the best ICO because most of the people will invest into ICO without any research. Now a days everything seems to be very interesting seems but after raising they are not focusing on developments and this makes government to legalise the ICO's.

ICOs and scams are going hand in hand. While many made fortunes with ICOs, there are many who lost their investment due to ICO scam/fraud. ICO market is open for everyone and you can't deny anyone from launching his ICO. There is no nobody who can take care of your ICO investment except you. Please do proper research before jumping into any ICO as chances of recovery are zero in case an ICO turns out to be a scam or fraud.

To avoid scams you should invest only in reliable and authentic coins like bitcoin, Ethereum, ripple, Litecoin, Liza etc. if you invest in these currencies you will have tension of your investment. Survey is mandatory and the most satisfied thing is that you should see the market cap of a coin because if more people invest in a coin, it will not be a scam and your investment will be safe there.

I agree, there are some ICOs that are just developing coins in order to look for crowdfunding and investors that are willing to buy their coins at a high price, and then they just runaway with it, and since it is decentralized and there is anonymity, it is hard to look for those  devs, and sad to say, this had happened before and will still continue, that's why have to be more cautious on new ICOs and unknown devs.

There are too many ICO project that when you read their offers they are really something and you can't resist to say 'no' but you need to be careful since your money will turn into stone if your being carefree in investing.

It's very easy to get scammed with ICOs - too often it's too easy to copy/fork the coin, copy a whitepaper, put up a flashy website, open a discord, offer some random stuff and make it enticing that by giving all this BTC you'll be investing in some fancy project.

Too often if it sounds too good to be true it is often too good to be true. Always be vigilant in where you put your hard earned money.

I just read your thread right now. Actually, you don't have to be worried for an ICO project where are you going to invest your money or already invested. If the projects are legit, have permanent visibility, durability and have some legal document. I even don't think a bit. Investing in unknown project with unknown team members is like giving away your money for free. Always remembet that investing is accompany with risk , and invest only what you can afford to lose.

If you want to invest in crypt you should study the market thoroughly because the price is so volatile that you can lose your money if you have no idea about the market. Investments in icos can be extremely profitable but that comes with a price, the risk is incredibly high and if you decide to invest in those new cryptocurrencies you need to accept that fact, some people never do and that is why they invest in icos that are really bad and then they try to blame other people for their losses as if they were not participant on how they lost their money.

that's why it is not good to follow other and don’t makes your own thinking, add your own research about the market, according to me to protect yourself from scamming and losing, just makes research about what you are investing and don’t invest blindly, investing in too many things like bitcoin, ICO, and trading gives us lose so chose one and try to know well about it as we should do all this just to avoided lose and make our profit safe.

Following blindly is a mistake most of the time, this is why I always do my own research, it takes longer and it can be very tiresome but at the same time is very rewarding to find a coin you believe it has a good future and it is not a copy of an existing project, but that since that requires effort most people prefer to delegate and follow the advice from experts.

First thing before starting any business is to scan the environment because it is important otherwise you can lose your money and time. When you are satisfied then you should study the market carefully and collect as much data as you can and after that you can invest if you realize that this sector is safe for your investment. Doing this you will never be a loser.
