Some icos just jumped into the crypto-currencies space just to make money without any attempt at helping to develop the crypto-currencies environment  whole sone are pure scams. They take investors money today by tomorrow they will be no way to find. Such icos should be avoided like a plague

Hmm scammers are everywhere. Imagine some banks and investment companies are fake and run away with people's money after years of investing. The same thing happens in crypto, people design ICO's for their personal gains and lure people into investing. After a while, if they have made the specific amount they want then the run away with the money. Let's be vigilant

I think that is why theres something called IEO where the exchange will requires verification for any of the upcoming project that wants to use their service so that the legitimacy of that project will be known by people, that also what contributes to the popularity of IEO simply because people judge it as more legit than ordinary ICO

On countless number of times will I keep suggesting that no there  is no proper way of investing than a just research. Proper research can even land you where you never thought it could and either save you money or prevent you from loss. I have been in the industry for quite a long time, I follow it almost every day and, I think, I am quite experienced in this subject. Recently, I am not investing in ico at all.
It is better to choose a coin that has its own network, mineable and community driven.
It should be decentralized enough, as transparent and honest with its community as possible, and, of course, highly technological.

Very few of the investors make investment without a proper assessment. But what happens is that due to the lack of strict regulations, some of the ICO promoters never keep their promises and that results in huge losses to those who have made their investment. But the encouraging thing is that nowadays the investors are also striking back, and are actively taking the legal course and prosecuting the scammers.

IEOs administered by exchangers and this make investor more easier to invest because dont have to make a deep research. All done by exchanger start from developers team, the project progress or building community.
