The abbreviation is ZETTEL,
as in "hey can I have 1000 ZETTEL please?"

The software/wallet will be called ZettelKasten.

I want people to use the full word ZETTEL, even as abbreviation.

Zettel is german for "note" or "slip of paper".
So in a way it makes sense to ask for some ZETTEL, it's like when you are asking for paper money.

Zettelkasten is a knowledge-management-system invented by a famous german philosopher ("system theory") named https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Niklas_Luhmann
He's now been dead for 20 years.
I want to create a digital decentralized knowledge-management-system in honor of him and his system.

More info soon.

To all the great miners out there:

Since we had a fair start please donate to address

Thank you.

Here's a list of message/signature-combinations I have previously used to publicly verify my identity using my donation address (e.g. on discord, etc).
If you see anyone else reuse these combinations somewhere else it means that they are a scammer.
I will only use a message/signature-combination once and create a new one with every new request:

Code:

Zettelkasten

New coin with new CPU-mineable hashalgo.

Coming later today.

More info soon.

Thank you.

Why release later? Now the pools and cloud miners will set up and us small miners will have no chance against them.

What do you have to offer other than a CPU-mineable algo?
Any wide range plans or you just plan to dump and leave this coin?

Alot of questions which need to be answered, hmm....

No problem, we will add a pool-discouraging feature.

Also, everyone is welcome here, no matter if they are big or small.

And last but not least: we expect the CPU-phase to be short, since every CPU algo can be reproduced by a GPU sooner or later.
It's just a matter of time.

do you have translation bounties?

We start from scratch with ZERO funds.
If we manage to mine enough ZETTEL we will gladly pay for various bounties with those ZETTEL.

and how long do we have to wait ?

About 2 hours.

I am running through the last tests,
setting up a bunch of nodes,
compiling a windows wallet (with CPU miner)
and a linux daemon.

Then we can start!

Any discord group Dev?

Not yet.

We'll probably do most of the dev-talking on github,
and maybe set up a Slack.
Though I have mixed feelings about Slack.

We might try discord.

But one step at a time.

Just download wallet, go to "Mining" tab and start CPU miner.
You can set the amounts of threads.

If you want to mine to a specific address create a zettelkasten.conf file and put
miningprivkey=<your_priv_key>
in there
