Thanks for the high quality, fair roll-out Smiley

Interesting algorithm approach as well.

I've gotten a few blocks and sent you 17.95 Zettel as donation.

I look forward to seeing what you make.

What's going with website or any further updates?   Blockchain has been live a week now with very little additional info. Interested to see in what the development roadmap looks like.

i agree, no news or updates. a sense of direction would help.

I mined 2 blocks in row and noticed that reward is 0,000005 smaller by block, that is halving in less that 2 years

The decrease in reward is not linear, it's decreasing too.

In such a way that block #2,000,000 will exactly be 5 ZETTEL.
.................... and block #4,000,000 will exactly be 2.5 ZETTEL.
.................... and block #6,000,000 will exactly be 1.25 ZETTEL.
etc

See:

https://github.com/zettel-kasten/zettelkasten/blob/master/src/main.cpp#L1329

So no, halving is not less than 2 years, but more or less exactly 4 years (or however long it will take for 2 million blocks to be mined)
Nice, thanks for response.

Dunno, I'd be happy to send some Zettel to the project if I knew what the plans were.   Really would like to see roadmap, website update etc, anything really. About to give up on this.

Nethash and difficulty is lower than it has been in last several days. I've been getting couple blocks a day with meager dual core celeron.

Sent 50 to the dev address.... More where that came from if we can show this coin isn't going to die.  Hashrate is continuing to fall.

no one ppl wants to donate to dev

1. find some block very difficult if only mine with cpu
2. newcoin must be have block explore first
2. its 2018, new coin must be have masternode
3. low support community pool + miningtools because dev come to already die

i leave mine this coin because dev just building newcoin but not support miner, like spr dev..
just dumppump coin

I've been getting 1 block a day on a 2 Core Celeron. I wouldn't exactly say that is difficult.

Noone will make pools: miner need to know the reward private key. so any pool miners can steal the mined coins.

Thanks a lot.

I'm working on website, blockexplorer, forum and new wallets.

New wallets will have that IP-limiting-feature I talked about a few days ago.
(so that full nodes get to decide how many connections from the same IP are allowed).

I'm also testing a few hashalgo-adjustments to keep extending CPU-Phase even further,
augmenting hashalgo from

SpreadDoubleKetchup

to

SpreadDoubleKetchupPrimeGradeABeef

Furthermore, I just spent a few hours with some more academic colleagues of mine, brainstorming about the knowledge-management-aspects of the ZETTELKASTEN principle.

Lots of stuff coming!  Smiley

BTW, hash rate will always fluctuate, long term fans should welcome lower hashrates and see them as opportunity. I certainly do.  Wink

2. its 2018, new coin must be have masternode

A coin should implement features that are needed for its functionality, not just because they are "hip" or "everyone does it", lol.  Cheesy

Personally, I think masternodes are basically a scam to drive up price.

3. low support community pool + miningtools because dev come to already die
Noone will make pools: miner need to know the reward private key. so any pool miners can steal the mined coins.

Indeed, it's a hard problem to solve.

I hope we will never see a pool.

Though I also hope we can one day extend the pool-prevention-feature so that it atleast allows for a P2P-Pool (a pool which isn't centrally controlled)

Let's see, I'll stick around for years, so... everybody make yourselves comfortable.  Cool

Exactly.

We have 1440 blocks a day on average, that alone should give people with just a fraction of net hashrate (1/1440 th) the real chance of finding at least 1 block a day.
