Yes, crypto is moving fast, every new year the past year becomes obsolete. We are of course working on a new version that will trump the one you now see.

bump, still eagerly waiting for some feedback! Seems to be good... at least on an old iMac (2.66Ghz core 2 duo). Only getting 46Kh/s... but ya, working.

Hi. My hash rate on AMD RYZEN 7 1800X Nice! A couple of those CPUs and you can mine yourself a nice ZETTEL-stash! Network looks good, we are moving into the future nicely:

"BurgerHash" is Zettel's mining algorithm. Like SHA256 is Bitcoin's mining algo, for example.

why there is burgerhash-qt wallet on github ? it's look like another coin, not algorithm only

Mod Note: Consecutive posts merged
"Burger" is a test net currency. So if you want to support the test net, you get "Burgers" instead of Zettels.
And "burgerhash-qt" is the test net wallet, of course.

Burgerhash is testnet chain of Zettelkasten, all changes happens there first and then they are being implemented into Zettelkasten. You can mine Burgers and exchange them for Zettels (more about that here -> https://www.zetteltalk.org/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=28). And Burgerhash is also hashing algo of both Zettelkasten and Burgerhash.

preferably BOTH. ZETTEL = main net coin, abbreviation = ZTTL BURGER = test net coin, abbreviation = BRGR BurgerHash is the name of the POW algorithm, we will probably rename the "BURGER coin" from burgerhash-qt to something else, to reduce confusion. Since with ZETTEL we introduce lots of new features, we need a strong active testnet where we can test those things first. You can earn ZETTEL by mining BURGER and converting them here (500:1) : https://www.zetteltalk.org/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=28Notice that this is not the "classical" form of testnet as known from other altcoins and bitcoin, where you can run a tZETTEL version of the current version and test ZETTEL-features with tZETTEL without the risk of putting your real ZETTEL on the line. We will provide one of those 1:1 testnet versions too, in the near future. But right now it would be a little bit over the top. The BURGER testnet is meant as a "research test net" where NEW FEATURES are tested and found feasible before they are then APPLIED to the main net. BURGER is to ZETTEL, what a "food taster" was to a medieval king. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Food_taster

Come help us on testnet so we can get rid of any bugs we still might have: https://www.zetteltalk.org/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=28You can earn 1 ZETTEL for each 400 BURGER you mine.

From Safetrade's discord: I have been contacted by them and we are discussing and preparing next steps. Let's be patient, I'm sure it will get done ASAP. Safetrade got way too much other things going on right now, so we may see delays, but everything is set in motion.

We are still in the process of getting rid of some bugs so that we won't have too much of a bumpy ride once we are listed on the exchange. The user elbandi has provided a fix for the forking-issue we had from time to time over the past months. We are currently testing this on Burgerbot (BURGER) testnet: https://github.com/zettel-kasten/burgerbot/releases/tag/v0.9.20.1We could use more testnet nodes and particularly miners. If you haven't considered running a testnet node yet, now would be a good time. YES, we have rebranded the testnet from BurgerHash to BurgerBot, because BurgerHash is the name of the POW algo, not the testnet.

So far testnet session looks promising: Not a single user reported that any of his updated nodes/miners has forked or got stuck. Excellent, but lets test this some more, preferably a whole 24 hours and with more people. if you haven't yet joined testnet, please do so: https://github.com/zettel-kasten/burgerbot/releases/tag/v0.9.20.1
