According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

A few more nodes are being set up,
but now I will be gone until tuesday for a quiet long relaxing weekend.

Happy easter days everybody.

Thanks for the successful coin launch.

Windows-Wallet: url =https://mega.nz/#!n64ynR4Q!EA8I9cEJTC9WUP2FsGTl2j8a5HNWuQgzAkx8IyQCwc8]http://zettelkasten.org/zettelkasten-qt.zip[/url

Added some seed nodes:

This fixed the connection issue for me! Thanks dev  Wink

HEY FUCKFACE.  Huh Huh Huh

Why did you change the link of the windows-wallet in your quote to point somewhere else? mega.nz?

Watch out everybody.

Never click on the links that someone quotes, always go back to my first post on page 1 and download from there.

I can confirm.

This guy BuyCheck is changing links in the quotes, possibly pointing to virus-infested downloads on mega.nz

Some people...

Looking through this guy's posts https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=510335

here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=510335;sa=showPosts

He's doing that link-replacement-scam everywhere!

Can a few people report this asshole please?  Angry
I'm still limited in my posting possibilities, I have to wait 6 minutes before I can make another post or send a PM.
Would be great if a few more people could report this idiot before he does some actual damage.

EDIT: Ok, report went through.

Anyway, happy easter everyone.

And stay vigilant! Cool

Hey, can you work on setting up a pool(software)?
Since the difficulty is high now i cant mine this coin anymore as singleuser with my cpu (150 kh/s) :/
Are you working on a roadmap?

You can still get some blocks at current diff. I'm at 195kh/s roughly about 1 block every 10 hours. I've got nothing for almost two days then WHAM!! 4 blocks in an hour.
Hang tight!

Seems like a nice project. I'm interested to learn about your knowledge management system and how that will work. Do you have any target for when we might learn more?

I'm a bit curious as to what others are getting for there power consumption during mining. My Q6600 2.4Ghz CPU is taking about 14 Watts per core (total 56 Watts for all 4 cores). Not sure about running my CPU at full blast 24/7, don't know if it would handle the stress.

And how does mining from the wallet work, do I lose all the work I've done if I stop mining and have to start from scratch when I restart mining.

Mining solo doesn't give you shares, and in mining, all work is basically the same chance to get a block. You mine the block directly, so you either get one or not, and you will statistically get one in proportion to your mining power. You can think of it like either you always keep your shares when you stop and start again, or you always have 100% of the shares because the whole block is yours if you mine it.

it's a spreadcoin based code: the coinbase private key is sended to miners, nobody will make pool (otherwise he risk stealing his coins...).

I mine on Ryzen 1600 with 200 kH/s and got nothing in 12 hours Sad

stay at it. difficulty has climbed up and sometimes it takes a long time to find a block but then you might get 2 blocks in a shorter span of time. true randomness
I've got only one block in 36 hours...  Sad I will wait a few hours more and will stop mining...

I may have been a bit optimistic when first mining and got 3 blocks in 36 hours, now 24 hours later and not a single block. I think I'll give it 24 more hours and see what happens.

hi dev how to backup the wallet? Huh

You will find the "wallet.dat" file in C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\ZettelKasten. All you need do is copy this file and save is somewhere safe (AFAIK).

I have the same problem, my last block was found 27 hrs ago.
