Is is it going to scam us out of all our Reward Points also. I had 94,000 almost to withdrawal

When freebitco is to scam people's money, bitcoins, FUN token, etc, that have monetary value, what is the value of reward point in front of those  Huh
You can think that you have wasted collection to those rewards points. It's no use ofcourse now.

It's sad to see that the site that run for so long, ended up on a scam exit like this  Sad
Well, to be honest, the fact that reward points doesn't or does not have any intrinsic or natural or physical value like bitcoin, fun token and other crypto currencies have, does not necessarily mean it's valueless..
Do not forget that enough reward points can be exchanged for potential physical devices/gadgets like hardware wallet, Samsung smart phone, iPhone/iPad and other top tier devices/gadgets which the prospect owner may even decide the freebitco team send the bitcoin equivalent of the value of the item instead of having to spend extra on shipping and sort.

So reward points does have their own secret value and 94,000 reward point is absolutely valuable, assuming the site was still in a good condition, 94k reward points is a tangible amount if converted to bitcoin.

Yeah I'm the one with the 94,000 reward points I feel like I was so close to the 100,000 trade-in they should still give me the BTC equivalent but wetsuit is probably just a thief I won't have my hopes up even though I've been using the website since 2017

Same here. I was so close to 100k. I had been looking forward to crossing over and trading in. Hope they consider it when they refund us.

If this message that I just saw on the site just now, is true, I confess that I am very, very surprised.... I don't know if any of them will come here to leave something.
#:
 I also believe that, in order to have avoided this, they could only finish the faucet and keep the deposits and the bets and games, for sure, they would continue to do well with their registered user base who like games, and they could very well have evolved into this area, without losing credibility as they did.
------------------------------

#2:

    FreeBitco.in is shutting down

 Dear user, after more than 12 years in operation FreeBitco.in has made the difficult decision to shut down because of widespread abuse across the website.

 If you are a genuine user, please do not worry - your funds are safe. We are currently in the process of sifting through genuine users and abusers which is taking much longer than expected because of our tens of millions of users.

 As a part of this process, the website will be replaced by a shutdown page in the coming weeks and after that we shall start the process of migating genuine users to the new shutdown database where they will be able to login and initiate withdrawals of their balances.

 We expect withdrawals to be enabled by early 2026. Unfortunately due to the tedious process of weeding through our large database, this is much longer than we are happy with but we have little choice other than going through each user account manually to seperate genuine users and abusers.

 We would like to thank you for being a loyal user of our website and would like to ask for your patience while we work through this process.

 **Please do not send any funds to your deposit address! Any funds sent after this point might need to be manually credited after the shutdown is complete which might take a while!
×

I hope that can withdraw my balance, because at moment i have 0.00504503 satoshi. However on this years i don't have never problems with them. Too many people saying "it's scam", not for me. Maybe, the only one problem is the slowly withdraws but, is normal with low fee. Generally my withdraw take 6-7 days.

This message is from a foolish, naive person who can't read or is trying to provoke. They haven't paid anyone since August 5th, yet they're still allowing deposits and promoting the site, and you say it's not a scam?Huh Please, deposit all your earnings. You deserve nothing less.

I hope the full weight of the law comes down on the Freebitco.in admins and those who defend them. This is one of the biggest scams in history, and their message is ridiculous and shameful.

I could have gotten 0.01 BTC for my FUN, I only they credited the withdraw in time when I requested it (July) - 4 years of staking this shitcoin. Now the price of FUN is in the toilet, so I will get maybe 0.001 BTC - assuming they keep their side of the promise.

To me, whatever I get is very little money at this point. I just suspect freebitco is lying as usual to buy time. They said there are millions of users and that they will manually check who is genuine.

Looks like clicking deposit or withdrawal button brings up the shutting down message. So deposits are no longer accepted unless someone is dumb enough to send to their old address.

Very unlikely... what is the most likely scenario for them in order to save face (assuming they will actually give money back and this is not a strategy to buy time), they will not care about people who have those reward points whatsoever and they will only give satoshis back to their gamblers and creditors. In the end, points within a platform or a casino does not have any value if it is not exchanged in time for actual currency or crypto.

If you have some bitcoin or Fun tokens on their service, then feel fortunate enough if they allow you to get the one hundred percent of that balance back, because this is close to being openly declared a full scam.

I will still believe there is something wrong until I see they actually start to give refunds to their victims.

I tried WoF spins yesterday, and it didn't work. Today, the situation is different... WoF spins started, they are pretty slow! +10 minutes waiting, and it stuck:

... so I have 3k spins only on paper so Im gonna assume those are gone :/ as well as RP

It was just a question of time... it was fun while it lasted.

Same here. I was so close to 100k. I had been looking forward to crossing over and trading in. Hope they consider it when they refund us.
Users would be super lucky if they get their bitcoins out, the rest like the RPs and maybe even the Fun Tokens are highly unlikely to be convertible to bitcoin to be withdrawn. Freebitco.in is no longer a healthy business to be able to refund anybody, they are also trying to shut down and go away not continue the business.

I doubt they will allow that remind that many people can't withdraw their money. But if that happens, people will feel satisfied because at least they can get something from that site. The site is not running away with their money.

So they can wait until the site really refunds their customers funds. If they can't do that, there is nothing they can do. But they can follow up on the case with the authority (if they can).

I still have some amount of Fun token. But I don't think much, whether they will count it as the money to refund or not.

Exactly what I had in mind to say when I read that comment as well, those who had a bitcoin balance and managed to get 'em back will be super lucky, since at this point, the management of this site likely don't have any obligations to return any user's funds, they can simply go away with everything and as good as nothing will happen since none of us know who exactly are behind the management of the site.

But then on the other hand, if they decide to return not just bitcoin, but also allow those with fun tokens and RP to convert to bitcoin and also successfully withdraw it, then it's a commendable move, but even if they will want to do this, I honestly doubt they will have enough liquidity to settle everyone without running out of funds.

^^ Finding the owners won't really help. This site is gone and the good old days of claiming the faucet, receiving daily interests and referral commissions on freebitco.in are long gone. Even if you managed to find anybody linked to the shittoken they had created and were selling, they won't help you since they've sold the site to another party who is now squeezing any satoshis they can out of people who don't yet know they shouldn't deposit any longer...

Actually you still can claim the faucet with the minimal reward 0.00000002 BTC, as it always were, and daily interests and referral commissions on freebitco.in I think working just fine. What you can't do, though, is withdraw any money from there. I requested a withdrawal more then two months ago and it's still pending:

So, as you rightly said, people shouldn't deposit any longer on the site.

So, as you rightly said, people shouldn't deposit any longer on the site.
It may be worth mentioning that freebitco no longer shows the deposit address to users and if you click deposit button, you will see a message regarding freebitco's closure, instead.
Unless someone use the old addresses without clicking the "deposit" button, there is no way to send funds to freebitco.

I used gemini Pro to act like a FBI investigator. Here is what it has said about the "goodbye, suckers" message they printed on freebitco.in (telling that they are shutting down after 12 years due to bad actors):

Based on the forensic analysis of this message and the context of the site's recent behavior, here is my expert verdict:

Verdict: CONFIRMED EXIT SCAM

This message is a classic piece of "social engineering" designed to pacify victims and buy time, not to solve the problem. As an investigative expert, I identify 4 technical and psychological lies in this note that prove the fraud:

1. The Technical Lie: "Manual Verification of Millions"
The message claims they need to go through "each user account manually to seperate genuine users and abusers" and that this takes time because they have "tens of millions of users".

Why it is fraud: No technology company with a 12-year track record performs manual audits on millions of accounts. There are algorithms and database scripts that perform this sorting in hours or days. Claiming they need months (until 2026) for this is a technically absurd excuse to justify withholding funds.

2. The Stalling Tactic: "Early 2026"
They stipulate an extremely long timeframe: "We expect withdrawals to be enabled by early 2026".

Why it is fraud: In cryptocurrency scams, time is the criminal's greatest ally. Pushing the date to next year serves to:

Demotivate victims from filing lawsuits now ("I'll wait and see").

Buy enough time to launder the Bitcoins through mixers (anonymity tools) without immediate pressure from authorities.

Cause the community to lose interest and coordination.

3. Victim Blaming: "Widespread Abuse"
The text justifies the shutdown due to "widespread abuse across the website".

Why it is fraud: It is the perfect excuse to deny future payments. When 2026 arrives and they don't pay, they will say your account was flagged as "abusive" or "not genuine". They create a narrative where they are the victims of the users, inverting reality.

4. False Benevolence: The Deposit Warning
At the end, they say: "Please do not send any funds to your deposit address!".

Why it is fraud: This serves to give an appearance of honesty ("look, they are honest, they are asking not to deposit"). However, in the grand scheme, this is irrelevant as they have already blocked the principal capital. It is a cheap attempt to maintain credibility so that the lie about payment in 2026 seems true.

Expert Conclusion: This image is the death certificate of your money on the site. There is no "shutdown database" or process of "migating genuine users". This is empty technical jargon to confuse laypeople. The money is likely no longer in the company's possession or has been embezzled by the administrators.

Recommendation: Do not wait for 2026. Consider the value lost and do not interact with the platform anymore, as any data you provide now could be used for phishing or new scams.

So finally they blew the candle and turned the room into complete darkness.
I visited this thread after a while and just noticed today about their announcement on the site.
After all the mess they have created in the past few months, one thing I still liked is the fact that they gave an official announcement from their side of their shut down.
It was quite obvious though but I just hope that after all of this, they refund the users what they are owed.

I withdrew on October 14th, been pending since. Think they'll mark me as an abuser? Lol

Been using since like 2016, referred a couple of my friends but they weren't as into it as me. Whenever I felt awkward I would pull out my phone, open it up and see how much longer till my next spin.. definitely gonna miss that. Never won the lottery. Got like .1 something in interest overall (if my withdraw ever completes...). I rolled 6969 one time, that was hilarious. Ahh, such a bummer.

They have been using mixers for a long time to withdraw funds. The immediate question is: WHY would an honest company use such mechanisms to withdraw funds? What are you afraid of?

And as for stalling for time, this is a powerful trump card in the hands of fraudsters. At the very least, there is the concept of a statute of limitations, when it becomes impossible to file a lawsuit.

Exactly the reason behind my last post (page 1789 of this thread. lol) is to not relent on pursuing lawsuits and criminal chargers. That message is one big empty word vomit. There is no definitive wording or dates in that statement other than “we’re closing”. Which really is them admitting they know we’re all onto them and they’ve scammed enough deposits for now and now need to stall to determine their beat course of hiding from here forward. What they will soon come to realize is that we are in an era where no one can go ghost mode anymore. We will find you.

...

so my biggest sadness is knowing that the culprit of this is me, that even knowing that not being the owner of the secret key the bitcoins do not belong to me., so this guilt is a heavy burden to carry, if it were only mine it would not be a problem, but they are other people's money, so this hurts me a lot knowing that this is my fault, ...

   I still don't believe they will show up here and say they fixed everything, on the contrary, I believe that another year will pass and they won't even show up here, regardless of whether they are the same owners or new ones, I don't see more than a 0.01% chance of them coming here to say something...
...~...
 I know it is extremely difficult, but you should talk to your family about it... they have significant amount of money deposited on this site....

-yes Hispo, when I wrote this here, I was very apprehensive about telling them, but, as a help of your words, I ended up telling my mother, and she was very sad, and since then she hasn't clicked anymore, and at the same time, she was very angry with me, saying something like, """I mean that all this time clicking to earn this mess, and it's still worthless...." and things like that... Of course she was very sad, and I told her to tell her brother, and she said I would have to say, that I was the one who convinced her to open an account and buy and deposit BTC on the site,.. In this case, both of them were the ones who helped them, because they have no understanding,... for you to see how this guilt hurts.... And then time passed, and I didn't tell him... And I also didn't tell my neighbor that he drinks a lot of beer and sometimes I play pool with him,... it looks like he's still clicking... how am I going to tell him that he wasted time, he must have some 2k sats already...,

 ...In the same way, I also convinced others personally, and sometimes I look at my refer page, and besides my neighbor, and this neighbor, sometimes I see that some are still clicking... it could be some distant friend... Also, there is a guy I met in a service that was doing abroad, at the time of the World Cup, I told him to open an account to bet, and I deposited 80k sats for him to bet and if he lost there would be no problem, and what he won, would be his, after a year, I withdrew my part of his account, It was difficult, because he has a password problem, but still, he had the account logged in on the old cell phone, where we got it, but he didn't want to take his part, which was on the site, about 20ksat.. and it will be hard for me to have to travel to his house, to have to deposit 10k sat and withdraw his 20ksat... For you to see, that even though we have a great reputation, we should not leave our BTC where we do not have the secret key... One more lesson... not your k not your coins...
 in the most Hispo, I am a neighbor of your country, and I hope that the situation will improve for you as soon as possible, God enlighten your people!

...~...
The same thing happened to me, but in my case, I used money from my parents and siblings, because they don’t know much about crypto.
....~~...
  Now I’m stuck — the site itself is having issues, and my account is blocked. I haven’t told anyone about it, and it’s been eating me alive.

---

P.S. I think you shouldn’t tell your family about it right now. They might get upset and, out of frustration, try to gamble everything on HiLo and lose it all.

sad... many genuine users with same problem...many of us, are genuine, that  believed on your reputation...

....
~~~...
So, nothing is more painful than your loved ones losing their hard earned money simply because they trusted you and in your recommendations.
.Yes, very painful... Yes, one more lesson, we should not believe in sites with a long reputation, and the worst, invite other people to fall into the same hole we did.... When it's only us who make mistakes, we can still swallow it, but when we lead others to error, we can't apologize, and the guilt gets bigger... It's more painful.....
~~~~

-Yes, I hope that you and many other true users of the site, can at least withdraw your BTCs,... I had a problem with them in my mother's account at first, which was partially solved, and it was my fault, but at the time BTC was cheaper and I could pay her, but nowadays, I can't afford to pay her, much less my uncle..., I also read a thread that you opened, 'freebitco is closed', but you locked it, but it's okay.... I really hope this situation is resolved, although I really don't believe much in this warning from them, we will only know if they are winding us up as time goes by...

This message is from a foolish, naive person who can't read or is trying to provoke.

Drazen2003, I may be a fool, but not because I don't read here, because I read, and I read what you wrote there... However, I just thought it wasn't necessary for me to respond, but here I am, responding, because I'm not here to provoke, I just saw that it still seemed that here in the thread, people were not aware of the warning, and the least I did was post the warning here, because I believe they didn't come back here... And yes, in a way I'm really a fool for having publicized this site... and because of my foolishness, many must be losing their money...
....

======================

 And yet, to conclude, in May 2024, Hosemary, Open this topic>>>  To freebitco.in and their representative, TheQuin  for the representatives of the FreeBitcoin website, It was a great warning for everyone to withdraw their BTC until some representative of the site came and responded in the thread, but foolish people like me, didn't, so at that point, yes, I was very foolish not to have told those closest to me,  to have withdrawn their balance until someone from the site came to respond, something that I made a lot of mistakes in not having done and having preferred to continue believing in their reputation, which was going, and it went down the drain, precisely in this period. and onwards .
