I will say that I was there for the old moon faucet shutdown. I was originally one of the people about to have my coins confiscated by being accused of being a scammer. I assumed the whole accusation was a con to steal people's money, but after emailing support he did eventually agree to release the coins. Apparently the advanced scammer detection he touted was just looking at my email provider and saying it's the same one scammers use, as if I had any way to know that (my email provider isn't itself sketchy).

Of course, no telling what will happen this time. This is just my anecdote that it's not always an exit scam. But that doesn't mean they're competent either, and short of legal action you're pretty much at their mercy.

For those who might not want to spend extra money on purchasing a hardware wallet, a very good open source non-custodial bitcoin wallet like electrum, mycelium that are free to download from Google Playstore and iPhone app stores are still very much better and safer to use than storing long term crypto investments on a centralized platform.

So, even if we will get our BTC, all these other things is most likely lost.

Yes, because the bot can last for too long, most of the time the drawdown is about 7 to 10 BTC, very rare it will reach 15 - 18 BTC (which will die soon after less than 20-30 losing rounds more because of max 20BTC win). Earning is about 1.5 BTC per 200-230  hours. So if you x100 to have 100 instances running at the same time => 150 BTC, but not all will success then you have to stop loss like at 7 BTC before losing too much but only few got threw away, the remaining 90+ instances will recover it fast given that big win per instance.

7-8 BTC to last around 2100 losing streak, 20 BTC to last about 2200 losing streak. The only two sites that this kind of bot work are Bitdice.me and Freebitco.in because of 0.00000001 BTC min bet and 20 BTC max win (Freebitco.in) and 0.00000001 LTC min bet and 50 LTC max win (Bitdice.me), risky to do ETH on Bitdice.me because 10 max win only.

Can't apply this on other sites like Stake, Bitsler, SatoshiDice, etc because either has higher minimum bet or too low maximum win.

First, they claimed that in order to resume withdrawals they needed to synchronize the blockchain; now they say they need to identify fraudsters and that only "legitimate" users will be allowed to withdraw funds. Many users do not know English and may not even notice the line about the website shutting down. If they were truly honest and actually intended to close the site, they wouldn’t have dragged this out for so long or invented various excuses, and most importantly, they would not have transferred all the funds from freebitco.in to binance
