Well hard to believe on the promises made by the casino which compromise lots of people. Also I believe that they just made that statement to lessen up the pressure and so they have lots of time to secure their tracks.

If they are going to refund maybe they released another statement regarding on the process, but it seems that they really don't have plans and want to keep the money they got from their users. This serves as a warning to us that we should not trust then hold large amount of money on a trusted crypto casino, since maybe they can pull the same actions what this casino did to their loyal patrons.

That is right as when the site becoming scam, there will be no way out for members to withdraw their money even if the site promises to refund the money.

If they are going to refund, they will show their attitude by starting the refund although not processing all. They can start slowly while they checking their members avoiding the abusing.

We have a lesson from this not trust and keeping the money in the site. Anything can happens anytime so we should prevents our losses becoming big.

I know it would be a little bit off topic, but would you care to share what exchange it was? And also how much money you had stored on your Freebitcoin account before all this fiasco happened?
I have personally learned from reading stories like yours to never allow exchanges to have the bulk of my money, because it undermines the whole point of being one's own bank.

I hope I will never have to suffer something as a seizure of my funds, not matter how small those funds are on exchanges or casinos, for real...

I used MEXC exchange, which was my go-to exchange at the time because their no KYC policy for smaller amounts at the time. Unfortunately they changed the pllicy in the meantime soI don't use that exchange anymore. The amount was around 300 USD worth if I remember correctly.

It may not sound as a lot of money for many people around here, who have a substantial amount of money in Bitcoin and other hard assets, but three hundred dollars are several months worth of labor in some of the countries where people on this forum are from...
Hopefully with this new lesson we have learnt, we will be able to avoid future situations, in which our money would be in danger of being seized or frozen.

I just can hope, those who have lost a little of their money because of this scam going on with Freebitcoin can also learn the same lesson we have taken, and not to trust their money to centralized entities, not matter their history or their past performance.

If they have a good intention, they will announce the situation and interacts with members here while they have ANN so they can asks their teams staying actively managing their ANN. No no, maybe I didn't explained well so there was misunderstanding I managed to get the funds by converting everything in FUN tokens and sending them to MEXC (which was KYC free at the time) and finally converting FUN to something else and sent them back to me. So I got my funds at the end

But yes, downfall if Freebitco.in was one more lesson and everyone should learn from it.

Instead, they simply instruct subordinates to make scheduled announcements about promises while they may have already disappeared some time ago. Isn't that one way to prevent users from reporting to the relevant authorities in the meantime?

The best thing you can do with the bloke you’re quoting is to put him on the ignore list. If you check out his profile, you’ll see he’s been tagged for spam, spreading false information and using AI. Only an account like that could claim that a casino which hasn’t processed any withdrawals since August last year isn’t a scam.

They may wants to looks professional by saying like that and don't wants to be called as a classic exit scam or a rug pull. But that will not change the situation and they don't say anything about the refund process. Members may still waiting for the next news but if they don't says anything, seems members needs to accept the reality.

Users should have cashed their funds out at the first signal there was something going wrong with this platform. There was actually a decent length of time to take the decision before being scammed by them. It was clear they weren't going to do anything to address the problems and errors pointed by users, meaning it was just a matter of time until they completely vanished on the internet.

The fact daily spins from FUN investment program weren't being delivered to users was already enough for me to give up on freebitco.in.

 Though, it has been long I participated in this thread to know some updates. I don't know if they have promised recently to refund the users who they have scammed but if it was the promised they made last year that, they would refund the legit users, I don't think that would happened again because their promise was the first quarter of the this year and now we Are in the second quarter of the year and nothing has happened.
