They are both the same thing. They use to purchase online by using internet we can buy and sell goods. And that's why we are here on this era without bitcoin we don't know blockchain and this is the newest trend right now and i know it will be more popular.

Even with the social media advertising, bitcoin or blockchain is still hidden to those who don’t look for it. Even with the used of internet to search for it, the answers would be far from reality. Even with the news from mainstream media it’s still incomplete.
Why? Because our government don’t want you to invest to it, they don’t want you know about it and they don’t want it to be more popular. And why? Because they’re corrupted by the bankers who paid them.
That's true, they don't want us to invest in cryptocurrencies because they fear that affects bankers. Because everyone can have his own bank account with Bitcoin, You don't need a real one, as you have your money in your wallet and secured, this is what banks do. So people can do that with themselves.

My country is average. They are too familiar with outdated and old technologies. In my country many people still understand Bitcoin as virtual currency.
There are places that aren't even engaging with modern technologies. And there's nothing wrong if they treat bitcoin as virtual currency, it is a virtual/cryptocurrency. BTC does not bring anything to life. They just think Bitcoin investment is gambling, chance, black red.
They are lack of knowledge and aren't totally familiar with bitcoin, bitcoin has even called as scam in some places. Why do not they look at Bitcoin, ETH or blockchain technology for the present.
You can't force people to look and embrace new technologies. And you? How is your country?
Crypto's are good but there are people who are using it for illegal things so others who are starting to be enlightened are becoming upset due to it.

Yes this is also some kind of oppression of freedom and democracy, but the difference is the government won’t be suspected with this because they have the monopoly of what is right and wrong. If only the people will unite against this, the government can’t do much but just to regulate and can’t ban cryptocurrency. This would change the game and its popularity to a higher level when the revolution of the people be recognized by the states.

There is no that much difference in between digital money and virtual currency and that it is the very much similar thing. I don’t really think so that calling it any of them will affect the reputation of the crypto currencies as this is just a name and that it has nothing else to do with it. You can quite comfortably make a lot of money even neglecting the name but you need to put in lot of efforts then.

If you does not know the answer. Please do not use any thread as spam yard for you. Instead of that you may use the alternate thread to make your post which are all you know well

I usually call crypto types as cryptocurrency and I think this is the correct term for crypto. There are a lot of comments on how to call the crypto market and there are quite a few opposing views on this, but I think there should be clear explanations on how to use words for many people to understand. In addition, the purpose of creating or using crypto is the same, only in the field that the project wants to exploit.

Hello friends. I have a problem to share. My country is average. They are too familiar with outdated and old technologies. In my country many people still understand Bitcoin as virtual currency. This happens to all new inventions, at first there are some early adopters that use the technology and the rest that are not adopting the technology think of them as weird but eventually the technology gets adopted and everyone begins to use it, just look at Facebook at first it was used by few people and now it's rare to encounter a person that does not have a Facebook account.

It seems that most countries are struggling with outdated technology, they think blockchain technology is too cool because basically they do not have access to control it. So until now they still consider blockchain technology, bitcoin is a threat to their country. Sometimes I am also very confused with their actions that are so stupid.

perhaps for those who are just silent and remain in a comfortable zone position, causing some people with knowledge of cryptocurrency still lack understanding, so they assume that BTC is just a gamble or a chance. perhaps with the passage of time, their understanding will get better in the future, after BTC can be recognized by all countries.

Governments are already into development of their own centralized blockchains, so they definitely see the incredible value this technology offers them in each and every aspect. It's basically the only way to move forward. Also, most well civilized countries don't consider Bitcoin to be a threat, but more a potential boost for their economy. If we look at Japan, then it's safe to say that every government would want that to happen in its country. Their actions don't make sense, or at least don't seem to make sense, is because of how much fud is going through this market. The only thing we can blame governments for is the lack of pace when it comes to regulations. The sooner they start with properly regulating this market, the sooner it opens up for basically every entity, where the most important aspect for people to look forward to is financial institutions jumping on board.

I prefer to say as a digital currency. In my country crypto is very widely used by many people, so it can be said that crypto have good prospect and already used by various online shop. Even now there are some ATMs available and free to use. This proves that crypto is in great demand and this could be one of the positive values. I see that the government is still shutting down to regulate the crypto. it may take several years for the government to begin applying crypto. I'm sure it happens.

Sorry to hear that mate, it's really a problem if your country doesn't care about digital currencies. But it's there lost not yours, just continue doing your crypto related job or crypto investment while it's not completely prohibited in your country. One day they will understand the real importance of cryptocurrency in our lives, just don't loss your hope with it.

Of course they see it gambling. It's pretty easy. They don't understand it and it is bothering them because of their current economic banking system. If more and more people take money out of their respective banks and put their money into cryptos they will loose a lot of control over our money. Our country does not yet have any regulations on cryptos, however it's said to be a work in progress so time will tell. BR.
