Any burger flipper from McDonalds can start a pool. Get 1$ hosting, install pool engine and off you go. Till first fuck up, then people loose coins and business is over, back to McD Cheesy People think it takes no skill to run a pool, yeah right.

Hi all, this is my first post here. I'm running 4x 1080 Ti's mining with Silent Miner 1.09 and doing ~72MHs @ 70% PL. But lately I have an issue, Windows runs extremely slow if I mine raven. I tried all suprnova, enemy, silent and CPU load some time peaks at 80% (i7 8700K by the way). Do you have any idea why this happens. A few weeks ago I didn't have such issue and nothing changed in my configuration apart from the usual Windows updates that I've set to manual.

What intensity are you running at? Try setting an intensity of 20, or even 19.

Give Silent Miner v1.0.9 a shot, and Ravenminer.com is a good pool.

Silent Miner v1.0.9

is your disk use high? Disable windows update service temporarily. If the disk use drops then there are updates that need to be downloaded and installed.

...but view task manager performance and resource manager to see if it is something other than mining causing high use of resources

0 miners lol Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Nobody is going to mine solo.

That's what a community is for; he/she was simply asking for feedback - no need to shut him down like that. On the other hand, it would be nice to see at least 1 miner (the poster perhaps?) on there  Grin

I personally mined some RVN for a couple days a few months ago, but now; the difficulty is crazy.
I was just trying to direct some miners to try out my buddies pool.

From TaskManager, when you click on "Processes" tab, you'll be able to see all processes that are top consumers.  You can click on "CPU" tab to sort ascending/descending order.

Then you can see what is using all that CPU.

I am mining RVN to my windows wallet for a week now,
It syncs and shows the received coins and balance
However when I check my address on RVN block explorer it only shows one of the first transactions.
And the balance is not correct.

Any idea why?

hash4life gives correct values

I never have disk 0% is your disk full?
Also is your wallet open. ...people will say don't have your wallet on your miner but I think this is your everyday PC since you are worried about other uses while mining?

Housekeeping issue:

Please wait 15 minutes between posting a new RVN miner.

Thank you for your contribution, next please.

BTW,
Running Enemy 1.08 for a couple of days now. I've got 27 GPUs/miners but I had to take one out yesterday. This makes comparing average hash rates harder, but.... My average 24 hour hash rate is up 5% (even without the dead miner). I think (which doesn't happen much) that the worker was about 4% of my hash rate. So my bad math says Enemy 1.08 is 9% faster than 1.05a for the past 24 hours. (I know my logic is flawed, but 1.08 is faster - at least 5%, maybe a little more).

“How did you go bankrupt?” Bill asked.

“Two ways,” Mike said. “Gradually and then suddenly.”
