Friggin Enemyminer changed it's DevFee port
Friday it was 3366 today it is 3333 so my miner stopped due to firewall only allowing 3366.
I'll try again but might just use my Frankenstein miner. I should call it that actually or bastardisedstolencodeminer

Ravencoin Miner: an optimized open source miner created specifically for Ravencoin.

v2.2
Kraww!
Added estimate for RVN earned per day (displays every 5th share)
Cleaned up Display:
-Removed hash order display (Optional)
-Removed first algorithm display (Optional)
-Removed Core clock, GPU temp, and GPU fan speed display, now only displays Efficiency and Power
-(Afterburner and other programs display this better anyways)
-Note: Only removed display, the code to monitor these values is unaffected and any options related to them should be available.

Kraww!

Is there any way to contact you? I can’t PM you.

Few options, first try going to
                                                "Profile",
then                                          "Personal Message Options",
then check the box                     "Allow newbies to send you PMs"

This should allow me to PM you, I am not sure why you can't PM me, you can give it another try though.

Also,

Housekeeping issue:

Please wait 15 minutes between posting a new RVN miner.

Thank you for your contribution, next please.

BTW,
Running Enemy 1.08 for a couple of days now. I've got 27 GPUs/miners but I had to take one out yesterday. This makes comparing average hash rates harder, but.... My average 24 hour hash rate is up 5% (even without the dead miner). I think (which doesn't happen much) that the worker was about 4% of my hash rate. So my bad math says Enemy 1.08 is 9% faster than 1.05a for the past 24 hours. (I know my logic is flawed, but 1.08 is faster - at least 5%, maybe a little more).

Hi WickedPigeon,
What GPUs are you mining with?  Are they all 1080s?  If not could you provide a breakdown of what they are?

One of my mining rigs is 1x1070 and 7x1060.  It runs for weeks without a hiccup so I don't want to mess with it if there won't be a significant improvement.

Your insight is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I mine with 22 21 X 1070ti and 5 1070 on 5 rigs - mix of brands but mostly MSI Gaming, couple of EVGAs and a Gigibyte or two. I had a couple of bumps re-OCing each rig. I had a real finicky Zotac AMP Extreem 1070ti that keep crashing the rig (I took it off line and gave it to my son in college to upgrade is gaming rig).

After that adjustment, 1.08 has been fine, 18 hours no issues. The cards are slightly OC 75-80%PL, +150,+150 ish range. Hashing is up at least 7%, could be more like 9% over Enemy 1.05a.

1.08 is fast. Really fast.

Hi WickedPigeon,
This is great and very helpful info.

Thanks!

I have pretty much the same, but if the sgminer does detect GPUs it does not matter which command you pass !

what do you get if you so sgminer -n ?

What is the -n for? (edit: I found out what it is but never tried it)
I'm still trying to find out how to control power limit and fan in the .bat file instead of after the miner starts (easy but a nuisance)
On --gpu-platform=<x> where x can be a number from 0 to how many different types ( amd/nvidia/intel) of cards in the system including integrated graphics.
One time I had to use '0' for it to work.

Yes. This is because the hashing algorithm changes with each block.

Upcoming session of AMA on Reddit will be best occasion to get some answers where Ravencoin's developers are meeting on 24th of this month. It is going to be interesting and would try to catch up it live. If not hopefully a recorded version will be available to watch later at least what was asked and answered in return.

I have a 5 x 1070 rig running 1.08 enemy now (Windows - inside Sandboxie).  OC is just 50/200 @ 65% Power.  Enemy is reporting 64 MH/s.

It has been running only for a short time on Zergpool (less than 1/2hr).  What Reject rate are you all seeing? I am at 5% with 100 shares submitted so far.

I was a bit suspicious when information began to surface that the new z-Enemy miner was about 10% faster than other miners.  I had been happy with Raven Miner which had been giving me an average hash rate of 150-160 MHz over the last week.

I downloaded z-Enemy and started running it 18 hours ago.  Over this time, my MHz has jumped to and held steady at 200-205 MHz (20-25% faster for me).  I'm not sure what causes one miner to be more efficient than another, but it is certain to me that my informal observations concerning the hash-rate of the two miners are noticeably different.

It's always important to get the latest version of mining software as it will make the mining more efficient. I've been mining for more than a year now and its a good practice to use latest mining software whenever devs release new ones. Gives bigger profit.

Its also interesting to watch the power fluctuate as it switches Algos. Here is x16r on my rig running for about an hour. Wattage is all over the place.

https://myrandomtechblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/04/watts-up-x16r.jpg

I grabbed this from a power meter that also does data logging off ebay for 35 bucks and just started playing with it on my miner. I am going to get another as I see someone has them for 25 bucks now. They are discontinued, and no longer supported, but a great meter for the price if anyone is interested. They can sample rates up to once a second. And you can also input your price per KWh and it will keep track of your cumulative costs, and also your average monthly costs. I was using a kill-a-watt to track power previously and writing it down in a notebook. Here is a quick review I did on it if anyone wants to check it out.
https://myrandomtechblog.com/cryptomining/watts-up/

I am trying it on raven miner now to see if that miner looks any different. <--  Not sure why i fixate on stuff like this, just cant help it. I like data.

%5 rejection rate is too big in my opinion. Try to give more juice to your GPU's. I too mine with a 1070 but it is hard to tell the average hashrate befause it is going up and down constantly. I know how many coins I make in a day though. (Which is 40-42) How many do you make with that setup?

I use suprminer1.6 as a miner software and ravenminer.com as a pool. Settings are +100 core, +100 mem, %80 PL. Rejection rate is below %1. Almost nothing.
