Scooted into first place on whattomine.com.

As a rule, I point my rig at whatever is currently most profitable, so it feels nice to move from ETH to RVN.

Check out Bruce Fenton's Reddit AMA - maybe you'll want to spec mine RVN for a bit.

“How did you go bankrupt?” Bill asked.

“Two ways,” Mike said. “Gradually and then suddenly.”

I had a power failure and now my Raven core wallet won't open, it crashes according to the event viewer.  I have a substantial amount of RVN's in it.  I did a wallet back-up yesterday and have the wallet.dat file.

My question is how to move the wallet to a different computer and recover the RVN's.  I have looked but there does not seem to be an explicit step by step instruction on how to do this. can anyone help?

You should be able to just move the .dat file and open it in a new QT

Are you backing up your wallet?

Yesterday I backed up my wallet to a thumb drive, I had a power failure early today and when I went to open the Ravencore wallet it crashed.  I have downloaded the QT wallet onto a second computer but can't figure out how to transfer the the information I have on the wallet.dat thumb drive file to the new qt wallet.  Nothing I do seems to work.  I am sure it is something simple but I don't know enough to figure it out.

You need to put your wallet.dat file in place of the one that is broken or inplace of the one that is there with a new install. It's just a file with your encryption keys.
