PTS-GPU mining
http://pts.1gh.com/

this PTS-GPU-mining is just fantastic for my "old" cards Smiley
two air-cooled HD6990 (from 2011)
one makes 2257 cpm - the other makes 2378 cpm
both at full speed/PTS - with scrypt-mining they are getting too hot, so i can only run them at ~75 % speed

the power-comsumption is very nice:
PTS: 650 watt / 4750 cpm // clock: 900/1350 mHz
Scrypt: 905 watt / 1840 kh/s // clock: 900/1350 mHz

come on - join this pool with your GPUs!

Something needs to be clarified here. Is the 1% inflation after 2 years only received if you've held the share in the same wallet for 2 years, or are all shares inflated by 1% after 2 years?

Total coins: Around 2 million, with 1% inflation after 2 years

My guess is that there will be 20,000 coins mined in the 3rd year, 20,200 in the 4th year and so on.

More interesting what will get BitShares PTS (aka ProtoShares) owners, read here: http://www.invictus.io/bitshares-pts.php

It's will be 2 million of ProtoShares at the end of this year, today, as you can see 1,367,768 PTS already mined:

It seems like neither of you really know for sure. This is important to know, because it determines if PTS is partially Proof of Stake or not. It also determines if it is to be held as a store of wealth (if and only if holders are encouraged to hold for 2 years) or not.

ProtoShares POW only, it's give you BitShares when they will be released, BitShares not minable at all and gives you dividents from BitShares X - distributed exchange.

After this ProtoShares will be also valuable, because will give you 10% of any DAC based on BitShares.

I think it's clear enough.

The only question, if you believe to BitShares, if yes ProtoShares/BitShares will valuable for you, if not - better to look to another coin.

I added all these nodes but still don't have any active connections to the network. Little help? I'm using the windows client. Thanks.

Have you downloaded the latest version from www.protoshares.com ?  It should eventually grab a node if you leave it open for awhile.

Yes, I have the latest version. I'm used to other wallet programs finding connections to the network in under 10 minutes, any idea why Protoshares would take so long?

Don't see how I can keep up with my cpu miners. I get 330CPM using yam on high end cpu's. I used to get 1 PTS a day and now it takes like 4 days. Wish this stayed a cpu only coin.
