This is against to our freedom of speech,twitter shouldnt be doing this to us because we arent doing anything wrong promoting these ICOs.They should do the same with facebook,no advertisements but the people can still share links,like,comments and post anything related to cryptocurrencies without getting banned or disabled.

Just do not need to write tweets ONLY with hashtags #ICO and the like. And then some crypto accounts resemble bots, they do not tweet on any other topics, they do not retweet others, they do not write replies.

I am not seeing too many people on this thread confirming that they have been banned or seen others' banned. I think this person just wants other to not join twitter campaigns. There is a difference between direct advertisements and tweeting about things you like personally. I thought twitter's original announcement was foolish and short-sighted. I don't rely on twitter's board of directors to keep me safe from financial ruin. I rely on them to keep their friggin website up and running. Maybe add a new feature or something every now and then.

As long as your tweets is educating and information, twitter will not ban your account. It is a good thing to ban those tweets because of shit posters and spammers. Better construct a good tweet to avoid being ban.

Is this your own experience? So far I have read mainly fud around this. Yes Twitter has stopped doing banner advertising for CryptoCurrencies but I don't know aby who had this kind of problems and got shutdown for using hashtags...

Well it's hard to believe. Twitter stop sometimes account who infringe their policy. Specially spamming. I do follow a lot of people in day, but I did not get anything yet.

The cap is 1000 /day. IF you go up to 1k in 1 day they probably (not 100% of cases) suspend you till you will confirm you are not a bot

I think to hastag not be a problem, which is not allowed is in the ads, if you write not in the ads it will be safe

In my experience twitter block you if you are doing mass following... if you don’t do so if you post many tweets also with #ICO I think there is no problem.. I do lots of tweet x day and I never had a problem...

I have been block permanently for I think 3 to 4 times, it was when I started following others and the later on when I log-in to my account it was block. Luckily I have manage to unlock the account. As of right now I can still use the hashtags blockchain and crypto related terms, if this is true then I would love to remove those and just tweets with other words used. In any case , can you kindly post sources or screenshots so that we can further avoid being blocked.

So my other posts are almost deleted. My posts are complete but when it comes to reporting time some posts are missing.
My Twitter account is almost blocked and recovered. Hopefully, Twitter does not block accounts that promote cryptocurrency, because people are just looking for work. Why are not scattered porn pictures on twitter? Right now twitter is used by nonsense promoting immorality, which slowly damage by scattered dirty photos, why not block them? Why not just unite for the benefit of all?
 If twitter would have to work including facebook would bring joy to people and continue to support these social media. Do not be selfish Twitter and Facebook.

Remember the owner of twitter said Bitcoin will be worth much more ita current price. So why hamper the technology? Makes no sense
