This is why I am a fan of Masternode coins with no Premine and a Monthly Budget,

Why prepay theses scam coins long in advance for work they havent done yet?

I think it is more legitimate if a coin can build up from the ground

It really is hard to believe that there are some ICOs who are intended to scam people. There are all hypocrits and rely on the weakness of people especially those who are new to bitcoin. So sad.

Yes, it is true that there are some icos that are scams. For us who are new in the cryptocurrency, it is better to fully understand and study what kind of ico it is before joining or investing in it. Read, research and know the icos and their team very well.

In any lucrative business, scams are expected. That's why you have to do your research before buying into any project. White paper, roadmap, utility of coin are all essentials in research for investment .

In every organization, there are Scams, so don't be surprised if there is one in ICos.. The good thing is just that, no matter how bad and evil they might seem to be, they can be some sort of advertisement and a sign that ICOs have a bright future.

As a Legit Investor just make sure you take your time to read through the RoadMap of any project you want to invest in. Get to know what the project has to offer and how it tends to offer it

At this stage, we should reduce the number of investments, because even a successful ICO project will be in a predicament with the fluctuation of the market.

I came across lot of such scam coins recently, and it is logical that these scam coins are on rise because cryptocurrency has taken the world in its influence. People started to realize the importance of cryptocurrency and if the crowd increase in certain field then comes the fake coins too!

The more scam projects are, the more scam coins and tokens will be. this is a natural result. many projects are struggling to get their money from people before they are not completed. they are organizing various events to fool them in some way. they are trying to create various prize scenarios and pull them into it. in this way, it is only a waste of money in the middle of every project that is revealed to exploit people. If you want real tokens, you have to find real projects. you need to follow the environment and the market well. otherwise every unknown will bring harm to you.

yes, there are too many of them this year, so you need to be very careful

Actually whatever about the scan coins, I am worried only about the top 10 maybe top 20 of coins on the market. I'm investing, and trading only those, which are trustworthy and tested by time. It doesn't matter for me how many scam coins are around here, because I'm a trader.
You are right for the safety, those coins you mentioned are safer than new coins, but there is a greed problem, in fact that new coins are more profitable. They are risky but profitable once we can find the right ones Smiley

I began my trading on scam coins just when I entered market. First was PIPR and VTY Cheesy Had both for 1 sat, sold after maybe few months for 2-4 sats Cheesy So it was nice 2x-4x profit. OFC it took some time, but I was happy with profit.

I think some of the projects do not come with the mentality of being a scam but later due to their inability to reach their targets, they abandon  the project and it appears to us like a scam because they do not communicate well to their investors and hunters and they abscond with the little money they managed to collect.

While the ICO is not regulated by anyone, scammers will try to make money on stupid people. But after all investors blame for not analyzing projects and allowing scammers to flourish.

There are certain indicators that allow to sort out explicitly scam projects: background of the team, price of the token, duration of ICO, feedbacks of experts, etc.
Most projects close up their activities not because they INTENDED to scam people but because they didn't reach at least the soft cap, are not able to adequately advertise their product and so on.
Oh there can be thousands of reasons..

We should definitely be careful because the scammers are scattered. It really is happening in crypto, acute scammers
Hopefully there is a platform that can detect the scam of ICO.

The amount of scam coins in the market is one of the things that is negatively affecting the prices and the market. There are just way too many coins and most of them are useless as they do not have any useful application of the coin besides trading.

We cannot guarantee that the ICO or programs that we participate are fake or failed or not. What we must do is analyzing the progress and the project. It will be meaningful to be able to differentiate the true coins and the fake one.
