Since I knew the transaction, I invested 0.5 ETH (at that time, the ETH price was $ 1200) and now after a long time of trading I did not make any profit from the market, I was really losing money.

The amount is should be according to how much that afford to loss. Good minimum to start is $100 to $500, by this amount you can growth your account trading by compound. And to to growth that amount is better to do trading in Metatrader so we can make profit from buy and also sell open potition.
Normally, anyone who is about to start trading should always not to be ready to lose, because that is not the essence of trading anyway. The reason why people lose is because they always refuse to learn, and even after learning so little, they are always in a haste to start making huge amount of money as the case may be which is the main reason why a lot of people get screwed in their first few years of trading, and eventually bail out if they get frustrated.

If you have skill how to trade and management of risk and money, in my opinion good amount to start trading is $2000 and we can make target profit 30% to 40% amonth. The amount of start trading should be also according to situation of crypto market, for now all crypto already dumped hard more than 70%   so its will be more easy to make some profit. And when we make 100% profit is better withdraw the initial and put on the asset that has lower risk.

It is not very accurate to specify a quantity, but I would like to say that I started with a low amount of 50 USD when I first started trading. Although this amount is low, I wouldn't say that it has a very important place in my experience. For many investors, this amount will appear to be low today, I do not want to pass my first trade in 2014 without specifying that I do not want to pass. In that period, the costs of shipping commissions, stock exchange commissions were quite low, so the money I sent was not worth much. In addition, it was very easy to gain experience in the period when the market volume was not very volatile. For all these reasons, I had enough experience with a budget of 50 USD.

I think I start to trade with a small amount because I don't have too much money and although I know that the cryptocurrency can give me a big profit, I don't want to use big money to start. I'd rather play safely in the cryptocurrency, and this is why I only use the small money, and I think with that money, I can make a profit and so far, I can trade without hold for a long time, and I will sell the coin if it increases in the next hours.

there is no obligation to start trading, if you want to make big profits start with big capital but if you want to slowly start with a small capital.
This is one good statement. The more you save and invest, the more you earn. But I would add further that in the context of the current market, that has down values, even a small investment In a great coin like Bitcoin for a long term can give you big money. This is the accelerated pace of growth of Bitcoin that can make it possible. For other coins, the statement holds true and can be taken as guideline to succeed.

Yes, that is the right thing. The only difference is the opportunity that we might get, the amount of capital we have will not determine the amount of profit we get. Because we could trade well or wrongly. So big capital will make us get a chance to gain a large amount of profit and also that large capital will also have a risk for us to experience huge losses. So make sure that when we want to trade then we have chosen the right coin !!

Are you joking, there is no ways for you to lose it all unless bitcoin is now at zero value. Lets say you bought btc at $9k and now it is around $6k, how could you lost it all if bitcoin is still have a value.
The other possible thing that may makes you lose it all is if you did cutloss many times continuously but I do not think someone who spent that much will be so dumb to do the same mistake again and again.

In my case, I cannot recall the amount but one thing is for sure, my first ever trading experience was the DEB token. I couldn't forget how glad am I when I sold my token. I must say over and over that cryptoworld is fun while you're earning.
Trading with the Bitcoin does not need any kind of maximum or minimum amount but all you need is your mind. Traders when come to know about things go here in the crypto market they start some practical experience with less valuable coins for short term and then they slowly upgrade to the Bitcoin with the savings they have made will make them able to trade here in the Bitcoin’s market.

I think that it doesn't matter amount of money with which you start to trade. But I in my opinion especially in the current situation you should trade with that amount of money that you can afford to lose yourself or simply forget for a long time. And most importantly, you always should have fiat money, diversify your investments, use risk management and never trade for borrowed funds. Also always remember to use stop loss.

If a man is sure that he is an extremely lucky person, he can invest a large sum of money in the cryptocurrencies (over 5 thousand). However, even 100 USD will be enough for a newbie.

I started trading around 2 years ago and the price was less at that time. I started with approx 0.1 BTC at that time and invested in altcoins, was in negative most of the time until some of them boomed

Well that was a great start. I believe that we must start at the very few amount of capital for good, because we need to start trading in a very small capital so that if we can loss we cam only loss a small amount. The important thing on trading is that we can gain am earnings that we can use in trading on the near future.

I started trading with very small amounts, somewhere close to 0.001-0.002 until I got the hang of the markets and became more aware of the risks involved.

Now I tend to trade with around 0.01-0.03 on a bet, sometimes more if I think there is a really certain opportunity.

Don't jump in too fast, noob losses can really screw you over.

It can be a good idea. You can join first some legit bounty campaigns and the profit you will make could be you starting capital for your first trading. It does not make sense to start with a big capital at first knowing it can give you a large profit, for me start with a capital you can afford to lose.

Crypto world is very fun, has a lot of opportunities and highly profitable only if you know what you are doing. Some people jump into trading and investment, thinking they will just be set up for life without doing the needful which is to learn.

Starting with an amount is not the deal and you can even start with as much as $10000 if you wish, but the question is do you have all it takes to be able to make good trades and how confident are you about it? Once you can ask this question and truthfully give yourself an answer, then you will know better what to do. Learning and practicing are two major things anyone should always do before even attempting to go into trading with real funds.

It depends on your risk tolerance 'Invest only what you can afford to lose'.

Try studying price action and candlestick patterns. Then pick a strategy you like and master it.

In my opinion, starting with even 1$ is a waste if you buy and sell blindly.

Happy Trading!
