In my opinion that Altcoins are still dependent with Bitcoin. We can prove that by looking at the most recent bearish market. Bitcoin's price is also dragging down the Altcoin market. Altcoins are still growing and maybe in the near future, there is a huge possibility that they will take control of the market. For now, I can conclude that Bitcoin is still on top.

In my point of view that Bitcoin already has the control over the crypto market. It is the only coin being used for entry and exit point in the crypto market. Also most of the exchanges have BTC as the base currency for altcoins pairings. Not to mention the prices of altcoins are still coupled with the prices of Bitcoin.

Whoever gained real popularity will dominate inside this industry,
Bitcoin still holding it as from this moment and there's no real competitions, Bitcoin is being used by several well known businesses online so he still be the number one and have many supporters we can't say that it will be there forever only time can tell if there's another project that will be more adopted aside from Bitcoin.

Bitcoin price determines everything in the market. It is rear that bitcoin will be bearish and alts will be bullish. Once my TA says btc is going down, i usually tether all my holdings

It depends on how will people accept cryptocurrency on the market. It is either on trading , investment or in transaction that could make them a more efficient consumer and user of cryptocurrency. But one is for sure bitcoin will be the major cryptocurrency that would take the boom on the market and may lead other form of cryptocurrency in the market.

The question is straight forward and the answer is quite clear. Who dominates the market. Well I will say bitcoin today, Bitcoin tomorrow and bitcoin for the future. Looking at the market trend bitcoin controls the market. It decides what happens and how the alts behave. Take a look at the altcoins chart this minute you will see they are moving along side bitcoin direction. I don't believe there will be altcoin only world without bitcoin.

Looking at what time period you are talking about. At the moment, the tavern completely controls bitcoin, which will be further unknown. But personally I think that sooner or later a certain number of altcoys will be able to compete for the championship with bitcoin, but this in any case will not happen soon. Shocked

There's nothing imposible whether bitcoin or altcoin who will take control of the market? I think some people leave bitcoin because the price is too high and risk is very big, and some people can't invest in bitcoin because of cost. But remember without bitcoin there will be no altcoin. Smiley

Bitcoin leading position seems to be doubtable as Altcoins have recorded a stronger rise recently and the market is less affected by Bitcoin. Instead of following the general price trend of bitcoin, many cryptocurrencies also start to follow their own “trajectory”.

Is this the bitter end for Bitcoin? For cryptos? Well, no, probably not. Get your head screwed on right and you’ll see that (for better or worse) many coins have seen unprecedented growth in the last six months to a year, even with Bitcoin’s price halved from holiday highs closer to $20,000.

What do you guys think but from my perspective alts can never take position of Bitcoin. There is no doubt that in current market there are a lot of very very good altcoins but their price also depends on btc directly or indirectly. Bitcoin is the controller of whole Crypto Market and Mother currency of all so now or in far future No coin can dominate over btc.

In times of volatility and uncertainty, investors tend to favor one particular crypto that has high liquidity and is stable. At the current time, Bitcoin price trend still dominates the market trend.

However, Bitcoin leading position seems to be doubtable as Altcoins have recorded a stronger rise recently and the market is less affected by Bitcoin. Instead of following the general price trend of bitcoin, many cryptocurrencies also start to follow their own “trajectory”.

This week, the altcoin works much better than both Bitcoin and Ethereum. The added value of the ERC20 tokens and the increasing demand for small cryptocurrencies of investors in the global market has proved that Crypto investors are more confident in betting their money on this market.

Saxo Investment Bank from Danish, with its aim to focus on online trading and investment, has announced in a recent report that the capital inflows from organizations to the Crypto market will lead to a rise in prices for most of these currencies.

According to me it's Bitcoin because of Bitcoin control the whole market we saw that when Bitcoin price down also down other altcoin price. So, basically altcoins are depend on Bitcoin.

The answer to this question is, of course, that BTC plays a major role, so the price of BTC affects altcoin. When BTC falls, altcoin will fall. Kiss Kiss Kiss

In my take desire Bitcoin is the king of all coins and no one will replace the powerful king of what ever happened in the proclaim no situation who owns the dispel for now but as they make known assist on the king is always a king. All kinds of Altcoin depend almost Bitcoin . If the price of Bitcoin falls, furthermore Altcoin will be discarded. If the price of Bitcoin rises high subsequently Altcoin price will rise high. That's why if you have to make colossal profits for that defense you can get Bitcoin and avow it for a highly long period.

I think letting the wind blows bring flying BTC prices, is my hope all along. it should be if BTC will control the market, with almost 10 years of age. altcoin also grows with others. but altcoins will still depend on bitcoin. thanks

Well it is pretty obvious that bitcoin will take control of the market as you can see at the moment. Bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency that solved the issue of double spending and thereby making it the first ever accepted cryptocurrency.  The price of Bitcoin and altcoin are interconnected but bitcoin has more power in the market as compared to the altcoin.
