Another question:

the wesleyh client used in NAS, has an additional address format added.

Looks like this:

Account ID:   14715526229481816938
New Address Format:   C2VC-6GVM-SNPM-EF2GS

if you want to send to this account you can send to either.

Also if you misstype on character of the new address format, if suggest to you how to fix it:

Real: C2VC-6GVM-SNPM-EF2GS
Entered: C2VC-6GVM-SNPM-EF2GK

The recipient address is malformed, did you mean C2VC-6GVM-SNPM-EF2GS ?

This is pretty awesome and this would kill ALL misssends!

Did wesleyh add this and can we have this too? Please!! Smiley

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

It's kinda 'stolen' from us since this will be in our client.

I was able to add NXTorrent functionality in less than a day. OK, still need to connect up the magnet link loader, but it implements adding listings, cancelling, searching, feedback and display of URL contents.

NXT core + NXTprotocol platform will allow significant new functionality to be added to NXT in a matter of days and weeks, rather than months or years.

The bottleneck is web guys to make the websockets JSON output pretty and user friendly. Usually it is the other way around, but with NXT now, functionality is going to be faster to create than user interfaces. If somebody can come up with a way to quickly create good user interfaces, then we can really go in high gear

James

sorry for the uneducated reply but what sort of functionality will integrating torrent technology and nxt bring to the nxt eco system.. it sounds like it has massive potential merging decentralised transfer of value capabilities with decentralised transfer of data.. but i havnt got the brain to picture what this can do! :L

actually... you have to pay service providers to transfer data over the internet.. but the only way to pay them was always banks ect... but now we have a decentralised transfer of value network.. so could you merge the 2 networks.. so instead of everyone paying one company to transfer all data.. everyone that uses the network also works for the network so that everyone pays for the use of the network but yet gets paid by helping running the network.. like if you get paid to "seed" on utorrent and then use that payment to download stuff?

decentralised, essentially free internet? the more that use it im guessing the more people that use it the faster it gets?
Combining the two basically increases the effective storage capacity of NXT's decentralized storage to, well, the combined storage of all nodes. Without any centralized point that can be shutdown.

What does this mean? Not sure, other than it will be impossible to ever delete anything Smiley
