No prob man, all for one cause...we just need to get their community aware of this project. Everyone should try to push this strategy because the problem with the under deployed nodes will solve itself if we can get a fraction of their massive numbers on our side

Good news on NXT on RaspPi:
The server is running quite smoothly on the Oracle SE Embedded JRE. Startup time is down to less than 1 minute (vs. >7min on openJDK7), shutting down takes close to half a minute now. The web client is responsive and fast, unlocking an address takes 1-2 seconds, though.
I used conservative settings, imho. This is what I ran, and what was output:
pi@raspberrypi ~/nxt $ ../ejre1.7.0_45/bin/java -Xms320m -Xmx450m -jar start.jar 2013-12-25 16:48:58.450:INFO:oejs.Server:main: jetty-9.1.0.v20131115 2013-12-25 16:48:58.789:INFO:oejdp.ScanningAppProvider:main: Deployment monitor [file:/home/pi/nxt/webapps/] at interval 0 [2013-12-25 16:49:01.485] Nxt 0.4.7e started. I also set the DDoS protection to somewhat more aggressive settings (10 Req/s, 2s delay).
CPU and RAM usage are more modest than I had expected. The worst case CPU load while idle and synchronized - with the web client open and account unlocked - was 15-20%. Without the client open( still unlocked) it was less than 10% most of the time. There have been some peaks of full load from time to time, probably due to new blocks. RAM usage, which I saw as most critical, is not too bad either. I ran with 320M initial, which is way more than I even need. The mem area is only a third utilized. Are the SE Embedded data structures that much less space complex? Probably, that is a factor.
Running something else on the Pi while running the server should not be much of a problem. While I was testing, I cut back everything as much as possible (GPU RAM share, CLI only), but I think those modest utilization figures leave enough headroom for a GUI. If not, one can always use swap to mitigate.
Next thing I will do is making a ready-to-run-package for Pi users that they can put on their box.
Hey can you make suggestions to this post to help with the raspberry optimized version? https://nextcoin.org/index.php/topic,1277.msg10730/topicseen.html#msg10730

@CfB,
what if all nodes set pullThreshhold and pushThreshhold to 1 or more to get rid of zombies. What happens to the network?

Seeing no NXT in 2 of my accounts:
Running 0.4.7 (from the Mega link in one of previous pages)
24384 10105875265190846103 25/12/2013 18:50:50 2 0 + 2 281 B 1 9724671831914694588 1169 %
In my transactions I see nothing. But there was only one transaction done to both account, no outgoing ones.
The strange thing there was a balance in both account couple of hours before. (i think i was still running 0.4.4, but it's possible i already had 0.4.7)
I tried deleting the .nxt files and redownloading the chain, but still 0.
What now?

Nothing will be changed. Both params work for outbound requests only.

Downloaded 0.4.7e to my home PC, installed from scratch, no blockchain. Both of well known peers are in Blacklisted peers, stuck at genesis block You can use my node 109.230.224.65, it is up to date and high-speed. i did this, restarted nxt and your node is also on the blacklisted list now containing three nodes and still stuck on genesis block. ok fixed my shit by myself. deleted the whole folder and started from scratch.

Curious luck event: I had my account unlocked on my Pi and it actually forged a block. (block 1375924269816616417)
So, maybe we can assume that a worldwide array of Pi minions should be able to churn out block after block without problem.
PS: My first block, and with fees even! Wooooo

When nexern releases his client I'll get rid of NRS interface and we'll get headless daemon with web admin console. This will free a lot of resources that r wasted to support current interface.

I have two hallmarked nodes running at digitalocean.com. I noticed they weren't using much more than 100KB/s so I asked around about a VPS provider with more bandwidth and was pointed to swiftslots.com. I set up a hallmarked node with them but it's also only using about 100KB/s. The digitalocean nodes have 100NXT and the swiftslots node has 2000NXT.
Why can't I soak up more than that amount of bandwidth? Do we have enough nodes already? Can anyone help me out with this? I'm also puzzled as to why I don't see any of my node IPs in any of my node peer lists.

if (account == null) { return false; }
No, it invalidates hallmark if it's signed by an account that has never existed on the blockchain.
