Ah thank you ! I was asking for help from devs but no one is moving.
If bit777 add Nxt this will be the biggest promotion ever.
With what exactly can we help? what do you need?
Pin

Just helping him understand how the client work and how to implement it to his casino (considering the high traffic/transactions).
The Nxt client is very different from BitcoinQt.

This is a main problem we see also appear with exchange, people dont know how to implement it in they environment. Can we have somebody other than core DEVs JL and CfB to help people with this?

who is willing to do this?

Pin

repost:

Do we have someone other than core devs that could explain how NXT works and help them setup business; this is also in the interest of NXT

This should be documented somewhere, and be made the reference people are pointed to.

All the NXT APIs are in here http://www.thenxtwiki.org/wiki/For_Programmers. So the general information is there for everyone and if they have specific questions they can contact Cfb

Can't. Login didn't work. Asked to reset password, still waiting on email. Any chance of having thread on nxtcrypto?

My brain will blow up if I try to memorize one password more.

In my mind a true democratic system would be each person has an equal say regardless how much you own (NXT in this case).

"Decentralized" doesn't imply "democratic" i think. Comments?

That's a fair point.

NXT VPS Server Donations can be sent here: 6044921191674841550
At the end of each month I will donate some of them back to the community.
This is separate from my main wallet so you can keep track of them. I will keep them in there and only use them for hosting.

I understand.
What raw data do you have from zombie attacks?
I could create a predictor for prior attacks as a starting point

Just one suggestion, concerning voting.

When making polls concerning decisions about NXT, POS should have the biggest weight.
Anything else, like Eurovision, could indeed be weighted per individual account. And then it would be a nice feature to be able to share transaction revenues with Eurovision organisers.

And, yes, the song festival is just an example.

If you used firefox and if you saved the password you could check what the password is under
tools->options-> securiy tab -> saved passwords

Actually, I use Chrome, nextcoin.org cookies r cached, not the password and I always use website url as a password, so I don't need to remember it. Thank u anyway. Smiley

Hello Guys,
I published the first alpha version of my Android App "NXT Watcher".
See https://nextcoin.org/index.php/topic,2588.0.html for further details and install instructions.

Screenshot to get a first impression of how it looks like:
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1304372/NXTWatcher/Screenshots/NXTWatcher2.png

I need a lot help testing on different devices, especially Gingerbread and Honeycomb!

So if you own an Android device, follow the link above and please provide some feedback Smiley

Additionally there is a 1k bounty for providing a good looking, Android-ready laucher logo for the app -- two guys working on it already.

And now the obligate NXT signature  Grin :
If you like it, you are welcome to donate a few NXT to keep me motivated Smiley

New Version (v0.1.1)!

I published a new version today, check the NXT Watcher thread (https://nextcoin.org/index.php/topic,2588.0.html or https://forums.nxtcrypto.org/viewtopic.php?f=46&t=455) for details and release notes.

Gingerbread should be supported now, but I need your feedback! Thanks Smiley
Additionally I improved the font sizes, multitouch gestures, added a self-updater, etc ... check it out Smiley

Another small update today; no new features, but v0.1.1 introduced a bug that caused a lot trades to be ignored!

Please update to v0.1.3

v0.1.1 users can just use the self-updater; v0.1.0 users please check (https://nextcoin.org/index.php/topic,2588.0.html or https://forums.nxtcrypto.org/viewtopic.php?f=46&t=455 for the download link.

I read this conversation under my video and then I lol'd:

Eh, I don't like the way it functions as much as I like BTC and LTC. Decent attempt at something unique, but I'm not sure I'd like this to survive.

What's 'cool' in the geek community doesn't translate to mainstream. The general doesn't plan on buying expensive ASICs or building 7950s in milk crates. Nxt is step forward.

but less profitable for miners, like myself. Wink

You'll find other ways to make moneys Wink

This is true, but I've dedicated my entire career focus to mining, which has been very profitable for me. I just don't like starting over. lol Wink

Well the current java client is not user-friendly, there has to be a one-click install windows client, then the sentiment might change.
