Cautionary Tale: I messed up. Big time. Please don’t pile on harder as I’m already sick to my stomach.
NEVER EXPOSE YOUR BTC KEYS/Seed to an forked wallet.
Two days ago, I attempted to split my BTC Diamond and BTC Private. I could not get it.
At some point, I exposed my Ledger Nano with my BTC on it, to each of their Electrum Wallets.
Last night, my wallet was emptied of ALL my BTC, 13+ coins.
Here is the transaction.
Transaction Identifier: d96a7dcd9775456e36938ed2cb84e9d0cac46fad14b8c95008ed77d08f9f8de6
Went to: 3LsvHPBGuEVLZZDUiUuNdNi33T7zmTBC7o
Here’s a signed message so you know I HAD controller of the wallet.
I’m not scamming, just utterly sick to my stomach for losing 13+ BTC.

It's a lesson worth for all of us to stay safe against MEW before you do anything because it will make you regret. Thanks for sharing to remind others to be careful. Although, I do not think the hackers will return.

That's awful man, sorry to hear it! It's good that you at least shared this so it can serve as a warning for the rest of us. Move your coins to a new wallet before using your private key to claim forked coins. Where did you find the client that stole your coins?

I think that is the biggest mistakes that you made because you losy you entire wallet that have a 13 BTC? If you convert it now to real money 13 Btc can also be a million. I think you must find a way to get it back because that is so big amount of money. |

That is a huge amount and I'm extremely sorry for your loss, but I don't think they'll return your money. Even I was scammed here by bitvigo and I was as helpless as you're I could do nothing about it.
In your case if you had purchased it via bank and filed taxes or if no taxes applicable you could approach your IT cell and ask them to investigate.
File a case under Jon DAE (a case against Unkown persons and hope for a miracle, I could not recover my coins I hope you're able to recover yours).

My goodness!  1 Btc for me is good enough what if 13 Btc will vanish I think for me it is the worst nightmare in my whole life. It is really sad to hear that the huge wealth will diappear for just an hour like a bubble. Maybe if I am in that situation I think I don't know what to do. But I would like to thanks to you for giving us a warning maybe we should beware for that kind of situation. |

I am sorry to hear that, if you lost your bitcoin or your bitcoin wallet then I think you cant retrieved it, because it is very complex thing to access again, I think this scenario is a lesson for you to be smarter than your past self. |

Sorry to hear of this loss. I tend to stay away from the forks unless I am totally up to date and confident with the procedure. (of course using some small test amounts first). Other than that experience you are going through, and of course there may be some light at the end of the tunnel - I do hope this is a lesson to others too. And also do not hold so much in ANY WALLET. Back up the private keys too, do not just remain and rely on the wallet.dat as these can easily become corrupted. |

Why did you keep all your life savings in BTC? I really don't get it. Unfortunately the only thing that you can do now is analyse your actions step by step to find out which software has been compromised. You either have a trojan on your computer or downloaded fake wallets that had a backdoor allowing the hacker to get your keys.
The money is gone either way, calm down, have some alcohol or try to get some sleep. The sooner you get over it the better for your health.
It is a really unfortunate situation, most probably he tried to extract the fork coins using the private keys keeping the bitcoin in the wallet and that is the biggest mistake he did, we have discussed about extracting the new coins and how to do it safely, the risk of using your private key with the coins in it is the most damaging thing you can do. I am not even sure who is behind BTC Diamond and BTC Private and i have not extracted anything till now, the only coin i moved is BCH and that too first moving my bitcoin to another wallet and that is the safest way. Never mind that you are lossing of 13btc. You have to invest more so that the 13 btc that you are lossing for. will return you more. I hope that it will not happened to me. |

I am sorry to hear that my friend, but i think it's best not to put all of your fortune into cryptocurrencies. But, for this tragedy already happened, i suggest you must be strong and accept it that you will goes up again. That's kinda mistake could make you more stronger and more careful for sure. One's should not down too long, goodluck.

There are many types of wallet that you can find what you want as long as you know safe to not be hacked. You will invest money you know well enough.

My god, please, don't be so sad... I already tell a little story here it was story about my friend, who lost his bag with notebook, and his ipad he has near 7 BTC on his wallet, and many ethereum, on myetherwallet and, of course, he has some altcoins, like tefood tokens, etc. he is cry, when it happen! i never see him crying! And, of course, he really need psyhological help it seems to me, that if i amn't near him at that moment, he really can think about suicide i just try to tell, that his life is more important, than money... but it was very hard ...
