NEVER EXPOSE YOUR BTC KEYS/Seed to an forked wallet.

Two days ago, I attempted to split my BTC Diamond and BTC Private. I could not get it.

At some point, I exposed my Ledger Nano with my BTC on it, to each of their Electrum Wallets.

Last night, my wallet was emptied of ALL my BTC, 13+ coins.
that's why in all fork-claiming tutorials always advise you to move your fund to other wallet for safety
then treat the old wallet and addresses as compromised and never use it again ever, but also never delete it

Here’s a signed message so you know I HAD controller of the wallet.
1QFFas4xGSy1p1Kj2ghyD6BJhVDmwWmyKb
your signed message means nothing, your signing with address 1QFFas4xGSy1p1Kj2ghyD6BJhVDmwWmyKb
and the inputs of that transaction are all segwit address (unable to sign message yet as of now)

This is probably the most unfortunate thing I've seen today. Since those hackers have the stomach to steal your BTC, I'm sorry to say this but they give them back to you, not even a fraction of Bitcoin. That 13 Bitcoin is not a joke because that is really a huge investment. I hope you recover from that mate. We know that you will because its the crypto world, there's a lot of opportunities for you here but you just have to work twice for now I think. I know you can do it and you will be able to be successful in doing that. Good luck mate.

---snip---
Two days ago, I attempted to split my BTC Diamond and BTC Private. I could not get it.

At some point, I exposed my Ledger Nano with my BTC on it, to each of their Electrum Wallets.

Last night, my wallet was emptied of ALL my BTC, 13+ coins.

Here is the transaction.

Transaction Identifier: d96a7dcd9775456e36938ed2cb84e9d0cac46fad14b8c95008ed77d08f9f8de6

Went to: 3LsvHPBGuEVLZZDUiUuNdNi33T7zmTBC7o
---snip---

in that transaction, utxos are quite new and they are from
3Qm3TdbDDVPmcit2xfacJWi3hdBeLSZvTF (12.53549677 BTC - Output) Block #520069 2018-04-27 00:31:51
3Jbn8xgo7WPF7oKNbo6qz6RiR2Eg7wHzzy (0.34 BTC - Output) Block #520452 2018-04-29 17:03:16
33f2FXUAjUaQyWbP8SBUQdGj6AbhF7zwvv (0.75 BTC - Output) Block #520088 2018-04-27 04:20:14

as I gather some info on those forks, I think none of your addresses have those fork coins
Bitcoin Diamond (BCD), fork at block #495866, Nov 24th, 2017, 1 BTC = 10 BCD
Bitcoin Private (BTCP), fork at block #511346, Feb 28th, 2018, 1 BTC = 1 BTCP
so you tried to claim them without actually checking your balance on those forks first?
and in the hope of getting a little extra money, you've lost 13 BTC instead Lips sealed
this seems odd to me, but please do explain as I'm not too familiar with those forks

but have you contacted by contact support from your wallet? hope it helps you.

this is really sad. 13 bitcoins are much fiat money. can you tell exactly which wallet is to blame for your loss? it would be very helpful if you would post a few links to the wallets. of course with a warning not to use them.

That's really sad to know that you lost such a huge amount. 13 BTC is a big number. Although I haven't lost as much as you, but I had also lost 4 Bitcoins when a reputed online exchange ran away with all the money. I was left befuddled and in shock. After that I made a pledge not to store private keys anywhere except a paper wallet.

This can be a lesson to everyone to keep safe your keys before you do anything because it will make you regret. Many are interested to have that huge amount of bitcoin and strive to work for that and for just little of time you lose it. I hope you find something to retrieve your funds because for that amount, there's a lot of opportunities you can do for your success.

I’m already sick to my stomach.

just utterly sick to my stomach for losing 13+ BTC.

I have now lost my entire life savings.

Please don’t completely bankrupt me.

As an additional warning to those that are new to the space...

If the amount of value that you are holding in crypto is such that you would be devastated if you lost it all, then you are holding too much value in crypto.

These are experimental, volatile, and risky protocols.  Do not risk your mental and emotional well-being.

sorry for your loss dude. The moment I read it, it feels like I am the one who just lost the entirety of my life savings. The cyber world is full of loopholes and people willing to do anything just to break in the hole. It never is a good idea to go ALL IN when it comes to bitcoin. I do hope that the culprit is here in the forum and take notice of your plea. 13 BTC is no easy money to earn, I hope he will be reminded of his conscience and return your savings, if not even if just what he wants to return.

To the culprit: hacking is easy, breaking into the system is easy. but dude, this one is basic, that money you have, it is not yours. step up and do what is right. sheesh

It's a massive loss for you, If I were you then I would be also devastated as like you. But there is no word to condole your such a loss. But this is a lesson for us regarding the backup system for our code. We have to keep our BTC or another blockchain address very carefully in a safe location. we can choose more than two location for the more safety.

Unfortunately. Hackers and scammers exist around this market. That inadvertently reduces the development and popularity of users with bitcoin. Men, stay healthy and start from scratch. I can not identify anything by my expertise and experience does not belong to it. That is a really worrisome warning. I have stored BTC in blockchain and biffinex. Is it really safe? Embarrassed

I guess you know this by now, but for others that read this...

You made 2 big mistakes:
1. You kept too much money in one wallet.
2. You tried to get forked coins without moving out your real money away first.

I'm really really sorry for your loss Sad ... 13 BTC wow....

Get together and think on the future. With some skill and luck you'll build up another money. You have to.
We can just support you since 13 bitcoin is very high value but i think you have big stressfull today.
Those above mistake should be learned by the other to avoid such of this problem. Everybody dont know to loss like this so we must avoid suc mistake.

Cautionary Tale: I messed up. Big time. Please don’t pile on harder as I’m already sick to my stomach.

I’m not scamming, just utterly sick to my stomach for losing 13+ BTC.

It appears that I have now lost my entire life savings. I’m not begging for a handout but rather attempting to warn anyone new to the space. I’m sick to my stomach with the loss and my only hope is to gain the attention of the culprit.

If you have any space in your heart, please return the BTC. I’d accept a fraction of what was stolen. Please don’t completely bankrupt me.
ouch im very very very very sorry to hear what happened to you, i can not imagine if that will happened to me, but your mistake is you put all of it in one wallet, be reminded specially all newbies that use not just one wallet and never ever use your storage of btc in other trading or any platform that will require your keys, im using ledger too, but im not using it on other transactions just by withrawing and holding.

Sir/Mam get a grip you will sure get over and REMEMBER: YOU CAN EARN MORE THAN THAT, nothing is impossible just don't give up.

You mean that such a huge amount of money should be kept in fiat? I also think so, but what about all this "hold until it's gold" stuff?
Personally, I don't know how people manage such huge sums. If I had something that the OP had, I wouldn't trust anyone, especially in this non-regulated crytoworld, I've heard stories about exchanges running away with their users' money, about people being just robbed while trying to buy/sell their crypto in a personal meeting. Holding would be my only option as I would be too afraid to go to fiat, lol.
