If I lost hundreds of bitcoin I don't know what will happen to me. Better do not put all your bitcoins in one wallet.

"Never put all your eggs in one basket" as the saying goes

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

In this world, money is the root of all evil,  they will do anything just to get it.  People live because of money and die because of.it.  amd theres nothing you can do to bring them back. If im at your situation im definitely out  of myself. Im hoping god has a better plans for you.

The "official" website is down: http://www.btcd.io/

http://bitcoinist.com/bitcoin-diamond-scam-claims/: "SCAM WARNING – multiple sites claim to let you collect Bitcoin Diamond. They'll steal your assets. Never enter your mnemonic into a third party website"

Basically it seems the whole Bitcoin Diamond fork was designed to scam and rob people. So sad people would enter their mnemonic (private) details in to a third party website, unbelievable. It seems after 23 pages of this thread it becomes clear exactly how the OP was scammed. His Ledger Nano was not compromised and most probably there is no malware or virus on his PC. He entered his private key or seed on to a scamming website thinking he would receive forked Bitcoin Diamond coins but got scammed instead.

So the question arises why the scammers have not tried to access the 13.65 BTC they scammed from the OP? Well it is simple to answer, they probably scammed so many people and have access to so many BTC that they have no need to rush to access all their loot. They must have millions of dollars worth of BTC to burn through and most probably will access wallets as and when they need money.

I feel bad for the OP as he should have moved all his Bitcoin out of the wallet before trying to receive his fake-forked coins or better still researched everything and concluded that Bitcoin Diamond was probably a scam and not worth trying to obtain. The scammers used an elaborate game to scam people and sadly it seems were very successful.

Cautionary Tale: I messed up. Big time. Please don’t pile on harder as I’m already sick to my stomach.

NEVER EXPOSE YOUR BTC KEYS/Seed to an forked wallet.

Two days ago, I attempted to split my BTC Diamond and BTC Private. I could not get it.

At some point, I exposed my Ledger Nano with my BTC on it, to each of their Electrum Wallets.

Last night, my wallet was emptied of ALL my BTC, 13+ coins.

Here is the transaction.

Transaction Identifier: d96a7dcd9775456e36938ed2cb84e9d0cac46fad14b8c95008ed77d08f9f8de6

Went to: 3LsvHPBGuEVLZZDUiUuNdNi33T7zmTBC7o

Here’s a signed message so you know I HAD controller of the wallet.
I’m not scamming, just utterly sick to my stomach for losing 13+ BTC.

I've lost all my coins. Please help ANYONE. If you stole them
Please return them! Please Please Please!  RT to help...

It appears that I have now lost my entire life savings. I’m not begging for a handout but rather attempting to warn anyone new to the space. I’m sick to my stomach with the loss and my only hope is to gain the attention of the culprit.

If you have any space in your heart, please return the BTC. I’d accept a fraction of what was stolen. Please don’t completely bankrupt me.

i can not describe in words how i feel for your coins. Sad to know your 13 bitcoins are stolen. There's nothing we can do now since its hard or i should say impossible to trace transaction. Anyways its your fault you should arrange software or hardware wallet.

I do not like these forks, especially not for any shitcoints. I'm sorry for your loss.
I hope you have learned your lesson and enough motivation to restart. Cheer up!

You have to beware about that fact anyone can stole your passwords easily. You have to learn with your mistakes. You're not alone 2 years ago i was scammed by someone, i also feel the same thing as you're doing now. Sad

I guess you know this by now, but for others that read this...

You made 2 big mistakes:
1. You kept too much money in one wallet.
2. You tried to get forked coins without moving out your real money away first.

I'm really really sorry for your loss Sad ... 13 BTC wow....

Get together and think on the future. With some skill and luck you'll build up another money. You have to.
I agree with you, in bulk, should not use online wallet! Safety above all, there is no guarantee when using directly on the Internet! That is a big money, hope that is not all your money!

My heart goes out to you friend, but we gotta protect ourselves in these spots as best we can. My advice to anybody reading this thread is don't opt in for some small amount of free money. They are banking on you messing up your key and seeds at some point, and if we only follow verified guides like Trezor and Nano Ledger then we should be fine.

This is heartbreaking. One time I exposed my private key, the rest is history. I will advise everyone to be really careful because some vicious individual are banking on you to make the slightest mistake and all you've laboured for will be gone.

Thanks. Worst day of my life. No idea what I’m going to do.

I’m praying the culprits have half a heart to return some of it...

Please, I’m begging you, whoever you are.

Do you think one of the member here in forum stolened your 13BTC?? thats why you posting it here and begging to back it again? I dont think so bro. If you announcing here that you have 13btc in your one wallet and transfer it to forked its probably one of here in forum get your btc but if not you should need to do is to pray that person to make your mind be peacefull. I know 13btc is a huge money but this is the world of crypto currency you cannot back it again once you'll lose your control on it.

I can only imagine what the OP is going through now... I wish you make twice more moneyin the very near future  and replace your gap with new fresh energy.
Didn't quite understand the fork part and how someone broke into his wallet  and how was he keeping hos coins? Dor example, keeping them on blockchain.info  isn't safer?

To find out you have to be in.

It's very sad story man, 13 bitcoins is very big money and probably you should find the way how to return it. If you have any ideas it's good but if not try to do somthing.
